Love the location of this hotel -- on spacious, green grounds (a couple of horses sometimes are brought to feed on the grass), and coconut trees, as well as other mature trees like tamarind and jackfruit. The rooms are huge and simply furnished, all is there. Surprised that such a quiet, country-side type hotel is only 10mins. from the airport! Really special. The large swimming pool is also very enticing.

The breakfast and dinner buffet did not have many Sri Lankan offerings which we really missed. Would be lovely to have string hoppers, milk rice, curries for breakfast, and perhaps hoppers, roti, and curries as part of the buffet offerings for those of us who love SL food and spice! (There is a small offering, but I wish it could be expanded a bit.)

This is such a beautiful, quiet hotel on beautiful sprawling grounds. We stay there as an airport hotel because it is only 10mins from the airport, but this is nothing like a typical airport hotel. It is much more personal, and really makes you feel like you are in Sri Lanka. The staff are delightful, warm and friendly, and so helpful!

The breakfast buffet could be bolstered with more Sri Lankan choices for example hoppers, milk rice and kolkanda.

We stayed only one night, but could have stayed longer. We were upgraded to a villa and the room was immaculate, expansive, and newly renovated. There were fresh flowers, a fruit plate, new pillows, robes, and a mini fridge.

Nothing- The property was gorgeous! 12 acres of pristine grounds with a restaurant looking out to the pool and surrounding grounds. It’s a must stay if you are near the airport or want the convenience of town with the quiet and natural beauty of Sri Lanka.

I recently stayed at Tamarind Tree Garden Resort and had a fantastic experience. Despite arriving late at night due to a delayed flight, the check-in process was incredibly smooth and the staff were extremely helpful. The resort is conveniently located just 5 minutes from the airport, which was a huge plus. My room was very spacious and comfortable, making for a great night's sleep. In the morning, I enjoyed a lovely breakfast buffet that offered a wide variety of delicious options. Afterwards, I took a refreshing dip in the pool, which is beautifully surrounded by lush greenery. My stay was excellent and I highly recommend this resort.

This is a gorgeous hotel set back from the main road in it’s own acres of green garden. Received a unique welcome on arrival with hot towel, cool fruit juice, floral garland and music. Room was extremely spacious with a separate dining/lounge area with large TV. Very comfy bed. Large bathroom with complimentary toiletries. Dinner was buffet style with lots of choice. Didn’t stay for breakfast as we had an early flight but we’re offered a packed breakfast. There is a good sized pool with plenty of sun beds/chairs and staff are particularly attentive. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, wished we had stayed longer. Highly recommend.

We really enjoyed the Lunch and Dinner buffet, the quality of the food was excellent and we had a variety of options to choose from the A La Carte menu as well. All the staff are very friendly and catered to all our requests as needed. Would highly recommend it for a relaxing stay full of greenery and a serene atmosphere.

A quiet beautiful serene park in which are several perfectly maintained bungalows reminiscent of W. Somerset Maugham and the long gone British Raj. No frills, just simple elegance. And the most beautiful modern swimming pool.

Loved everything.

We liked the setting in the garden with big fruit trees and birds. The location is very close to the airport. The food was decent, we had dinner and breakfast buffet. The choices were acceptable. It had all the amenities we needed and the staff were kind and accomodating

The rooms have older style furniture. The water pressure in the shower was low. It is what we expected it to be for the price we were paying and I would recommend it for a night stay close to the airport for the budget.

The hotel was great and the suite worked well. The property is a little dated, but they are working on upgrades. Suggest better air-conditioning in the bedrooms. The staff were great, the breakfast was very good and the property grounds are interesting with different trees and flowers.

The bed only had a thin sheet , no duvet , so it was a bit chilly .
