We stayed for one night before our journey back to the UK and were greeted with warm hospitality. The hosts were incredibly kind and accommodating — they let us extend our stay beyond the 10:30am check-out so my three year old could have a much-needed nap before our late evening flight. They also provided meals and drinks at a reasonable rate. The location itself is peaceful and scenic, tucked away on one of the nicest roads we’ve seen during our time in Sri Lanka. It’s also conveniently close to the airport, making it a perfect stop before departure or upon or arrival.

There is nothing to dislike.

We stayed at Le Meridien BnB during our recent trip to Sri Lanka and it was such a great little find! The location is super convenient – just minutes from the airport – which made leaving early in the morning stress-free. Dennis is lovely and made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. The room was clean and had everything we needed. They even helped us organise transport and offered a delicious dinner and tea before our flight. If you're looking for somewhere affordable, friendly, and easy near the airport, this is your spot.

The pillows were a little high for our liking

we stayed our last night there. The location is a bit hard to find (our tuk tuk drivers always had problems, there was a street blocking). The Guesthouse is basic but everything is there what you need. The family is truely amazing and super friendly. They made us special dinner for our kids and helped us with everything we needed. We could stay longer in the room so our little one could do her day sleep before we are going to the airport. would come always again! thank you very much :)

it’s close to the airport but except of this it’s really in the nowhere. which is nice to relax but quiet far if you want a coffee/ restaurant/ activity.

The property is located at the end of a side road about 10 km form Negombo. There is just a forest around, so morning time singing birds wake you up. The owner family leaves downstairs, and two guest rooms with independent shared bathroom are upstairs. Rooms are large with balconies. Fans and mosquito nets are provided. Upon request the owner prepares good, cheap meals (rice and curry for 3 USD), tea and cofffee. Grocery store is about 300m away. Tuktuk to the airport takes 15 mins and costs 2 USD. The owner may arrange the ride. Perfect place to stay when on transit or waiting for the flight. Thanks a lot for Dennis, the owner for his help, hospitality and everything. You are amazing!

nothing - everythig fine

Nice traditional rural accommodation, quiet, apart from the airplanes occasionally. No air con, but supplied good fans, so cool enough . Beds comfy and clean, bathroom shared, OK, but small.We were in a room for 3 with a small balcony, which was fine. Breakfast was $3 p.p. and was an enormous traditional spread. Well worth it! Sat eating and watching monkeys stroll by. Dennis was very helpful as my phone needed repairs, and he told me what to avoid so as not to end up with a repair that could ruin my phone.

No drinking water, except from a well, provided. Sharing a bathroom, but we knew this when booked. Accom was off the beaten track so, tuk tuks etc. needed.

The location is very beautiful, and the staff are so friendly and helpful. There is no kitchen, but I told them I want to make some noodles and they just gave me everything like fork and other stuff, The room with very big and there is a locker inside it. Also, with a balcony with one of the most beautiful views for this price! Highly suggested place

The network coverage was not very good there, when I arrived, I saw them adding some sort of a network extender. There is free WIFI there with average speed of 5MB, There is not many restaurants around the area but they do have a menu with a fair price, One last thing, there is not AC in the room, but there is a fan which was pretty enough for me

This is a great place if you have an early flight pr if you arrive early in the morning. The owner waited for me at 5am and send the taxi immedieately so that I didnt have to wait at the airport a lot (price was 2000 rupees). Accomodation has all the basics and offers cheap Sim cards, meals and can also arrange transfer. I took the transfer to two locations, the price was simolar to PickUp, but the drivers were really proffesional, they didnt hassle for additional money, like it happens a lot in Sri Lanka

I couldnt sleep. I arrived at 5 am, but at 6/7 am the traffic in the street gets really loud and everytime a plane takes off it will surely wake you up. Still it was worth the low price, to just rest for a couple hours before going on to explore the island

The place was in a nice neighborhood. Felt like you're in the middle of nature. The hosts cooked us some fresh food in the evening. It was really delicious. They also have an own drinking fountain. The room and the bathroom were basic. But the room had a mosquito net and some drinking water. The next day, Dennis gave us an overview of Sri Lanka and the sightseeing locations with a big map. It was very helpful, because we hadn't planned our trip before. The pick up from the airport also was very well organized.

The only thing, I didn't like were the bed sheets because they looked dirty. They had several spots.

Clean room. great location close to the airport. I’m an insomniac and I was really worried about the noise when I arrived from the tv downstairs the planes and the traffic outside on the main road. It was also swelteringly hot when I arrived. However I put on the fan opened all the windows and slept like a log. It was honestly the best night sleep I had in Sri Lanka. The hosts are sweet people and the Sri Lankan breakfast was delicious 😋. I even took the leftovers for my flight. So so good. I will stay here again definitely.

Perfect short stay, nothing to complain about, Dennis uncle and aunty answered my questions even before I could ask them. Watch out for Dennis uncle's culinary super power (haha)! We had wonderful conversations, the family is just lovely, and the room is as mentioned. Reached the airport in less than 15 minutes. Uncle arranged a tuktuk at a very reasonable rate late at night. This place deserves a longer stay to explore the beach and islands nearby. Grateful to have stayed here.
