Great budget place very near the airport where we were welcomed by the host even though it was after midnight. The accommodation grounds were also nicely landscaped and some of the surrounding area was also very photogenic. In addition there was a nice terrace outside our room for sitting and cooking utensils if you wanted to make your own meals.

The accommodation was a bit off the main road, so going to a nearby store would take a few minutes if you’re walking and if it’s at night, it would be a rather dark walk in the night.

The property is conveniently located near the airport, making it an excellent choice for travelers with early or late flights. The property itself is exceptionally clean and well-maintained, with a modern and well-equipped bathroom that added to our comfort. We stayed for a brief 5-hour stopover while traveling from Kandy and waiting for our 4 a.m. flight. The highlight of our experience was the host, who went above and beyond by personally dropping us off at the airport at 2 a.m. in his car. He was incredibly kind, helpful, and accommodating, ensuring we had a smooth and hassle-free experience. Highly recommended for short stays near the airport!

We found it an excellent choice for our last night in Sri Lanka, before an early morning flight. Mr Lahiru has 4 rooms to rent in his private house, located in a quite and rather dark neighborhood. The room offers exceptionally high value for money. Clean, large enough, good hot shower and a real air conditioner - not easy to come by in Sri Lanka. Mr Lahiru is very kind and attending, and was happy to take us to the airport at 6am for 1,000r. A tuk tuk from the airport cost us 300r, after long negotiation.

Limited dining options nearby. But there's nothing wrong with the local fried rice served in family restaurants in the main street.

Wonderful location/room and great service! We were a group of 6 people who wanted AC rooms close to the airport - this was the best place! The people here were friendly and helpful. It was also 5-7 mins by vehicle to CMB airport so that was perfect. Spacious rooms and you can also walk 5 mins to nearby supermarkets if you wanted to get snacks. Upon request, you could also eat Sri Lankan food made by the people at Lahiru Airport Villa. (We had breakfast, lunch, and dinner.)

I recently stayed at Lahiru Airport Villa, located just 3 km from Bandaranaike Airport, and I couldn't have been more pleased with my experience. The property is incredibly neat and clean, offering a natural and serene view that provides a perfect escape. However, what truly made my stay exceptional was the owner. He is a genuinely kind and friendly person, always well-behaved and eager to help. During our stay, he went above and beyond by taking us to Negombo Beach in his own car, joining us for dinner, and even driving us to the airport despite the bad weather. His hospitality made me feel as though I was staying with a relative rather than at a rental property. I highly recommend Lahiru Airport Villa to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming place near the airport. The personal touch and care provided by the host make it a standout choice. The staff here make it!! Such a lovely place and everything done with a smile. My girlfriend wasn't very well and they organised a lovely dinner for us and even brought it up to the room. It was super clean and comfortable and perfect for our last night in Sri Lanka. Genuinely some of the best service we've had, stay here.

It was such a good stay! The room was clean, we had our own bathroom, the Wifi and the AC were working perfectly and our host was the most lovely person. He was so helpful and made our stay memorable. On top he accepts Cardpayments so it’s perfect for the last stop in Sri Lanka. It’s not too loud even though it’s close to the airport. I can highly recommend coming here

everything was just great! bed big and comfy, hot shower, fast wifi, mirrow, small wardrobe, clean towels and blankets, kettle and Nescafé, fridge, safe, small couch & table. owner allways helpful and nice. supermarket just next door with tasty peaches and cherrys. hotel is just a 3 Minute walk from Taksim square and no noise when windows are closed. we had a great stay and would go again to this hotel :)

The room was very clean and spacious. The host was very helpful and even got dinner for me and brought it to my room. I had to go to the airport in the middle of the night and they helped me with getting a taxi and everything! It is very close to the airport, so very convenient for the night before your flight.

Host was wonderful. Room was clean, air conditioning worked great which was a bonus just coming from a cooler place. Bathroom was spacious and spotless. Host brought me fresh coconut water in the morning. Perfect place to stay before or after the airport. Tuk tuk from airport cost me less than 500 rupees.
