the room was clean and comfy! there is a great restaurant option downstairs to have a dinner.

the location was slightly further for walking to the airport, taking a car is more recommended, especially with suitcases. the staff was not very helpful, didn't ask to carry suitcases, find a ride to airport..

We booked Goodwood Airport Hotel as a place to relax before our night flight home, arriving in Colombo around 1pm and leaving for the airport at 2am. It was exactly what we needed. The hotel has a large, lovely-temperature pool that was perfect for unwinding, and the rooms were a decent size and comfortable. We were too tired to explore after two weeks of touring, so we stayed in and had dinner at the hotel restaurant, which served good food. The location is ideal for the airport, just 1km away, and we managed to get an Uber, though it’s worth allowing a little extra time as drivers can be slow to accept short-distance jobs. The staff were very friendly, and the overall atmosphere was calm and welcoming. This was the perfect spot to chill out and recharge before heading to the airport.

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel conveniently located near the airport. (Free shuttle) Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed with a refreshing welcome drink, which immediately set the tone for a relaxing visit. The rooms are very comfortable and well-equipped — truly nothing is lacking. You can tell that attention has been paid to the details that matter after a long journey or just before a flight. All in all, a great place to stay for a night near the airport, especially if you're looking for comfort and a warm welcome.

However, one point of improvement is the service in the restaurant. While the food itself was fine, the wait was quite long. We had our maincourse before the soup. The waiters did not understand the English language good enough. Breakfast starting 7 in the morning. (For an airport hotel its late)

Knowing that I am allergic to sesame, they took every necessary precaution to ensure that my food was prepared with the utmost care, providing me with peace of mind and a delicious, safe dining experience. Spotless throughout and great location, literally 3 minutes from departures at Bandaranaike Airport. There’s a brand new pool but hadn’t opened yet so good for future travellers. The aircon was ice cold and quiet and you get free tea and coffee and fresh bottled water each day. The staff were wonderful and kind. We got a TukTuk for just over £2 to Negombo Beach so it’s not isolated. Use the PickMe app when in Sri Lanka.

We couldn’t fault it to be honest. We’d read some reviews that were not good but they were from 2022 and the hotel has clearly spent some time and money on it.

-The hotel's location at the airport is convenient for an overnight stay after a long flight. If you don’t have heavy luggage, you can walk to the hotel from the airport; the journey will take 10-15 minutes. -The hotel room was spacious and clean. -There was free water in the room. -The staff was polite and friendly. -Comfortable parking. -It was quiet at night, -Good air conditioning and fan

Transfer from airport to the hotel could be better arranged. While the hotel confirmed through Booking Com to provide free pick-up from the airport, a flight delay derailed this arrangement and when I contacted the hotel I was old to find my own transport. The manager later told me that they only provide transport until 10.30pm which was not told to me in advance.It was next to impossible to get a taxi or an uber/pick-me ride as the drivers weren't keen on committing to a short ride. Better communication and flexibility of the hotels transport arrangements would help establishing it as a more dependable transit hotel.

Very big comfortable room. Excellent shower. Pool looked incredible but we didn’t have time to swim. We only stayed for 1 night, to be right next to the airport, but it’s a really nice place and I would have happily stayed for longer.

Takes a while to work out the combination to turn lights on and off. Sounds silly but was spending way to much time running around to all the switches figuring out the right combination.

The property was extremely close to the airport - 5 minute drive. We hailed a ‘Pick Up’ car for a few dollars. The room was very spacious, dark, clean and cool (good aircon). Perfect for a nights sleep after a late flight.

Breakfast facilities were basic but did the job. The hotel does what it says on the tin - it’s an airport hotel. Reliable and clean, but you wouldn’t extend your stay here beyond airport needs.

As an airport hotel, I wasn't expecting too much. However, this hotel seemed to have thought of everything room-wise.

It was very unfortunate, but both of us experienced a tummy upset after eating dinner in the hotel restaurant. My husband was unwell most of the night.
