Nice Staff, The Hotel's proximity to the airport (The Flight Crews use it), Buffet and Breakfast superb. Bathrooms a little on small side but in general a really good place to stay ahead of a flight from the very nearby Airport (with a transfer in Hotel vehicle for $15US.

Not much really. The pool and in particular the pool edging/paved area could do with a revamp as the slabs have degraded and all the aggregate now hurts the bottom of your feet when you walk on it - but that's a minor gripe...

Location of the hotel.

The front desk staff was not welcoming, and the female staff, in particular, was not pleasant. This is not what I expected when visiting a Sri Lankan hotel. Could not find an accurate scale to weigh my luggage. The hotel scale was not precise at all. Please make sure to have a good scale for clients. The food was not that great! Did not offer free shuttle to the airport. Previously, I was offered free shuttle service.

Great location, minutes from the airport. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The buffet Brea and dinner was very good also with so many choices of foods. The perfect hotel for a night or two. I stayed here both at the beginning and end of my Sri Lankan vacation and it was very convenient and easy to get to and from the airport.

I had to chase after my laundry as it wasn’t delivered on time as promised.

We stayed at the hotel prior to a return flight to the UK. It was the sixth hotel we'd used in our trip to Sri Lanka and by far the best. we had a lovely, large, double-aspect room where all the facilities worked and were easy to work out. (We had discovered that convoluted and incomprehensible light switching is a feature of hotels in Sri Lanka but not this one.)

Short distance from airport. Efficient free transfer from airport to hotel. Large, clean, corner room with nice view over the swimming pool and across the lagoon, with a less attractive view to the side. Pleasant staff. Overnight laundry service.

Slow response to messages sent after booking and prior to arrival.

The rooms were large and comfortable. And had a great view of the lagoon. The Sri Lankan food was very good.

The continental food on room service was not upto standard at all. The pork chops were overdone and hard as was the grilled calamari. Also the gym wasn’t functional as it was under renovation.

a great airport hotel that's in a garden. Only 15 mins drive ($15) to the airport. Nice pool area and great buffet in the evening and for breakfast. The new rooms are much better than the old ones.

Its a bit on the costly side for a Sri Lankan hotel. The bath/shower takes some effort to get into, no chance if you are not steady on your feet

At first impression the hotel seemed a little dated and run down, and we were surprised at the high rankinng on Booking. Over the next 24 hours our imression changed 100%. We were given an amazing suite, all the staff were very helpful and attentive and the food was excellent. By the time we left this was our favourite hotel of our trip and our initial misgivings forgotten. We couldn´t recommend it more

The pool could do with a bit of a facelift

Very spacious hotel and room, clean and choice of restaurants. We ate in thr chinese restaurant and the food was delicious. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Ideally located for airport. Arranged a packed breakfast for us as we were leaving 6.30am for the airport.

Thought the pool area needed a bit of tlc, chairs and loungers looking tired and weeds growing up through tiles. Pool was very clean though and we had service from the bar
