Food for dinner is very poor - we ordered Pick Me delivery second evening. Not within easy walking distance to restaurants or groceries. First evening there was a noisy retirement event next to the pool and our room - singing/drumming, with no consideration for other guests. Second evening there was a 21st birthday event around the pool with loud music for a couple of hours, again with no consideration for other guests, so if you have an very early morning flight like we did, no chance for rest before hand due to noise.

Our stay at the resort was nothing short of amazing! One of the standout conveniences was the free airport pickup, which was not only complimentary but also extremely flexible. Our flight got delayed, but the team adjusted the pickup time without any hassle, which really set the tone for a stress-free vacation. The moment we arrived, we felt taken care of. The staff was warm, the property was beautiful, and the entire experience was seamless. Little touches like this flexible pickup service show how much they care about guest comfort. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with top-notch service right from the moment you land!

They only sell beer but that was not a problem You can get a tuk tuk to a local supermarket for 400 rupees. Return on pick me As we do like our wine 🍷 😏 😋 🤪

The photos don’t do this place justice. It is way better. It has a large, clean pool, with plenty of sun beds, and towels are provided. The pool has a shallow area for children, and there is kids play equipment in the huge, beautifully manicured lawns. The rooms are large with glass sliding doors opening on to a private patio with chairs and tables. There is a fridge, tv, tea & coffee station and water bottles are provided. The restaurant has delicious, reasonably priced food which is important, as there is nothing nearby. The hotel provides a free shuttle service (unsure if this is just a one-way service?), down bumpy side roads that make you wonder where you are headed. Once you arrive though, it’s an ‘oasis’, and a perfect place to relax. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. They even let us check in really early, as we’d taken an early train/grab to get there. It meant we could relax by the pool & sleep in our room throughout the day.

The toilet seat was coming off its hinges so was a bit of a safety issue. I’m sure it will have been fixed. There was a discussion over us paying for water that should have been in the room, but it was probably just an oversight as the room had been cleaned and prepared for our arrival very early. We were just grateful to be able to use the room so early.

Overall, friendly and comfortable accommodation. The staff were also friendly and helpful. The food zi had was very good. One thing I've noticed about the Lankan 'English' breakfast - here I had scrambled egg after wanting a change from Kottu m or other race etc based brrakfasts - is that their toast is thin white Mother's Pride-like bread very poorly toasted. It comes out still white, barely toasted at all. Oreeka's toast was exactly that, so to be avoided. A small point though. my taxi driver observed that it was not ao close to the airport that it could be called an airport hotel but, at a cost of around 1500brupees to get to the airport - about £4, maybe $5, that's a,very minor point. The Oreeka settings are lush and green and expansive, with a good, though small swimming pool. Good enough for a dip and a pre-flight poolside 'lounge'.

Choose this hotel for it's position close to the airport, its transfer service to the airport (20min) included in the price and the flexible check in. The swimming pool, surrounded by plants and trees is the perfect place to relax before a long flight. There are many deckchairs, a few swings and a small playground for children. They provide beach towels. Breakfast was good and there is the restaurant for lunch and dinner which is perfect. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was big and quiet with a nice balcony and a big bathroom. The King-size bed was very comfortable too. There is A/C. They provided complimentary small bottles of water daily, tea and coffee.

We flew in late and just needed a place to stay for the night before moving on to a tour. The deluxe room was large and comfortable so we were able to get a good night's rest after a long flight. In the morning we discovered a really nice pool in a tropical garden setting and enjoyed a cooked breakfast then hung out in the pool until it was time to check out. The staff were lovely and very helpful. Keep in mind this is not a five-star hotel and does not pretend to be. But they deliverer three star very well and provide terrific value.

You will need to arrange your own pick up from the airport. This is not clear from the booking website. However, an Uber ride from the airport is inexpensive.

We needed a hotel for 1 night and a day near the airport. I chose this hotel for the nice pool and garden area, to relax and the free airport pick up and drop off was very convenient . We arrived very late at night and the pick up was easy . The room was well equipt, with sliding doors to the beautiful grounds. We had our own lounge area in front of the room. The pool area is wonderful, big clean pool, enough sun loungers and towels. The grounds, garden is beautiful and quiet, lots of birds around. The breakfast was ok and the food in the restaurant is also OK. You can take a tuk tuk to Negombo town/ beach, about 20 minutes away. The staff is very nice and we could stay the whole day and evening after checking out of the room, our flight was late at night and we were taking to the airport on time with the free shuttle.

What we wanted was a place near the airport for our last night in sri lanka because we had an early flight home in the morning. What we got was exactly that. Plus we had a huge room right by the swimming pool, which was a nice thing on our way back, so we could enjoy some water and sun one last time. The fact that it does offer free airport drop off was really great. Transfer did work without any problems. Price was great too. We were more than satisfied.

We had absolutely nothing to complain. Maybe it is worth mentioning that the place is a little bit remote and it seemed like there was not much around. We did not care though.

We booked this one for our last night in Sri Lanka. It turned out to be the best stay we had during our trip in regards to the facilities. The rooms are spacious, with big comfortable bed, fridge, airco and a fan. The bathroom is spacious too with a good show providing hot water. The swimming pool is huge with sunbeds surrounding. The accommodation has a restaurant too. On top of this there is a free airport shuttle.

The location is rather remote there are on walking distance not that much opportunities to buy some stuff or to go the another restaurant
