The value you get for the price is unbeatable. The garden, the pool, the billard, the equipments are all great. The room was spacious, comfy and clean. We had a minibar, a nice bathroom, a kettle. It was quiet at night. The food at the restaurant was nice. The owner although we didn't see him a lot was super nice !

Location is not close to the city center and there is nothing around the hotel. Very annoying to ask someone each time to enter or get out of the property (gate is always closed). The staff was nice but the elderly lady was very bossy and we didn't like her manners and tone.

We booked this hotel twice and had two completely different experiences. First Time Deluxe room, was Clean, quiet and cozy. Owner and staff were friendly and vegan breakfast was no problem for 2,50 USD.

Second time we booked the cheaper standard room. Owner and staff had no interest at all. The room was old, smelled like a smoking room and moldy. The shower was broken. The bed is just 1,20 meter. The vegan breakfast this time was more than the double price. We didn't felt welcome at all. Also at the first booking we told them three times, that we don't need a taxi from airport and they mailed us the driver details though. So we took it. The price is 12 USD or 15 Euro... You can get a uber for 3 USD!!! There are no supermarktes or restaurants near by.

Second time I've stayed here the night before a flight and it has everything you need. Great value and even greater dogs and staff. Airport transfer is higher than normal price but at least you know it will actually turn up – I've booked two early morning tuks to the airport via Palms now, and both arrived nice and early, which is always a relief. Water dispensers to fill your bottle are a huge plus – there's way too much single-use plastic in Sri Lanka. The bed was comfy and the room was spacious and super clean. Oh, and did I mention the DOGS?

More vegan food in the restaurant would be great.

A great place to relax before or after a long flight. The pool is small but fun, in a nice little garden, and the rooms, restaurant and pool area are very thoughtfully appointed. Breakfast and other meals were at cost, but well-prepared and with good value and variety.

Only complaint would be that the wifi was not working too well while we were there. But the staff made a real effort to fix it, and it got slightly better. Possibly an isolated incident and hardly affected our stay at all, but it could be important for some.

Our flight was delayed almost 24hours and we ended up arriving at a weird time. The staff at the villa were very accommodating to all that. The transfer service was safe, punctual and comfortable despite our delay. Palms villa itself was a perfect place to recharge between two long flights. The room was comfy, had good air conditioning. There was a pool and an area to hang out outside. The food served at the villa was exceptionally tasty and made with a lot of care. Would visit again.

Mainly that our stay ended up being very short (not due to Palms villa, obviously). Our shower did not had good pressure, so it took a while to wash thick hair. A minor thing, really.

We had to return our rented tuktuk in Negombo and stayed at Palms Villa for the airport transfer. Location is perfect, only few minutes drive from the airport. Very nice garden and pool to relax before your flight. Also very nice and comfortable room with a large bathroom and minibar available. We also arranged airport transfer though the hosts which was really convenient!

Dinner was okay, but probably not worth the price.

The place is absolutely beautiful! The room are big and cosy, the beds are very comfy, the space is sparkle clean. It's the best place to go and rest when you arrive from the airport. The host was so helpful, he gave us some great tips and helped us with everything. He even advised us to go to North to see the dolphins, and it was wonderful We saw thousands! Thank you very much for your caring!

Nothing. Everything was perfect!

It's such a cool hotel..with pool, large but cosy rooms..lovely dining area..a place to relax and chat in the garden. Best of all, was the fantastic food and amazing hosts. You are looked after, cared for, and feel warm and safe! Happy! It is totally amazing! Thanks!!

It is all 100% lovely!!

Amazing spacious lounge zone with clean pool. Friendly smart staff. Restaurant in the villa with a very tasty and quality food, various menu positions(good portion size and value of money). Rooms are very spacious and clean. A/C and WIFI works perfect.The owner is a very intelligent man, who understands his guest’s needs.

Everything is perfect for us

Communication was excellent prior to arrival. Lovely to get greeted with doggie cuddles on arrival! We only stayed for a short layover after a late arrival but the hospitality was excellent. We were able to arrange transfer from the airport in the early hours of the morning and even a driver to Mirissa the next day. We were very kindly upgraded rooms when we arrived which was a lovely surprise to start our honeymoon in Sri Lanka. Excellent powerful AC in the room. Very clean and spacious. Lovely to have a hot shower after long flight. Mini fridge in the room had beers, coke etc you could have for a small cost. Free water provided in the room was appreciated. Looked like an excellent swimming pool but didn't have time for a dip. Wished we could have stayed longer. Would highly recommend for a short stay or even a few relaxing days. Excellent value for money for accomodation and meals. Would definitely stay again when back in Sri Lanka. Thank you again!
