Staff: absolutely amazing. Everyone! From the gardener to the waiters to the receptionist, I can only speak highly of the team. We traveled with our baby and they just made us feel at home since the moment we arrived. Property: The design, how it respects the nature around it and blends in so well with its surroundings. Was beautiful to feel like we entered an oasis but at the same time felt close to everything.

I did like it but would maybe recommend the menu to be revisited. Given the beauty of the place and the care and love of staff for all guests, the menu felt a little out of place. Food was lovely! Well cocked and I would eat there again any day just feel it’s all so amazing the menu can be worked on.

The property is super close to the Negombo beach side and you can walk to it. The room was also pretty spacious and the bathroom comfortable to use. They also provide shower gel, shampoo and conditioner during your stay. We also took advantage of their Ayurvedic treatment, doing a full body massage plus a steam bath.

The ac in our room wasn’t working properly so we had to use the fan.

This was our little luxury stay just before we flew back home. Nice boutique hotel with very nice rooms (with a view on the pool in our case). Breakfast were buffet style but eggs were prepared to your personal taste. The pool was very welcoming and the location, though not in the main drag of Negombo, it is totally walkable but we were lazy and used the service of their preferred Tuk-tuk driver who was charging low prices. What we liked the most were the spa services we used to get fabulous massages at very affordable prices. One of us even got a facial ! Some reviews mentioned the train but is only comes by a few times a day and did not cause any disturbance to us. We did not take any other meals than the included breakfast so we cannot comment on the restaurant. At the reception, Kevinda was just and angel and helped us with a perfect English and was always smiling. Kudos to him and the whole team at the hotel, it ended our trip perfectly.

The home from home relaxed calm environment combined with the friendliness and professionalism of the staff were the highlight. The room and balcony was large and beautifully presented and the food was high quality with the curry being a stand-out. It was exceptionally clean and lovely having the pool and spa/massage facilities on site also however the pool was too shaded for my liking, but it appealed to other guests. I will be booking again on my return trip.

The pool area could be improved with more comfortable beds and the trees trimmed back, the massage rooms could do with an uplift in decor.

From the moment the Hotel collected us from the Airport we felt totally relaxed and welcomed. Fresh juice on arrival during check in. We normally stay in 4+star hotels but here we wanted to experience true Sri Lankan hospitality We were not disappointed this is not a 5 star hotel but the staff are totally genuinely warm and welcoming worthy of 5 stars. We requested 2 private tours the hotel provided these and we felt we were royally treated. Not in a false corporate manner but in the manner you would treat a family friend. It would be wrong to highlight a specific member of staff this is an operation that shows how a team excels when they work together. A credit to Hotel Management.

It was so beautiful, a hidden gem, I did not expect it will be just off the street and it fel like we were deep in the nature. Beautiful garden, amazing pool, lovely and helpful staff. Our room was facing the river and train, I read reviews of the train being quite loud, but I did not mind. Our room had amazing big windowd facing the river and it was a wonderful view. The bed was comfy, the food was nice, we were a little late for breakfast and everyone was very accommodating. I was very sad to go, it is an amazing place. There was little parking one night and everyone quickly helped and solved it so we parked well. We had very early check-in, we arrived at 5 am and they were also kind about that.

We stayed for 5 nights and had a great time! The hotel manager Ruben and his team are exceptional, they make everything possible for you. We got picked up from the airport early in the morning, could directly change cash on the first day at the hotel, had an amazing dinner with lots of typical Sri Lanka dishes, got some nice massage treatments, got a driver organised for various trips and received a breakfast to go - even without asking for it - because of early departure. Also, the room was comfy and clean, with a great view to the little river, the towels and bed linen fresh and clean (which is not also the case in hotels here), good AC and hot a mosquito net provided. The location was great for us, just a few minutes to the beach (either walking 15min or talking a tuktuk 5min) and close to the airport. Negombo is a lovely place, not too touristy and a perfect start for exploring Sri Lanka.

When we arrived the heat and moist in the room was a bit overwhelming but the AC works really well and worked its magic.

We stayed at Ayur Ayur for 3 nights and it was a wonderful stay. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. In particular Roubin helped us come up with ideas for what to do. He suggested a lagoon boat trip which was fantastic. The hotel can organise all the tours for you. There is a slightly increased cost but it is worth it as they have really good contacts. I was happy to go with them for all of this. we also saw the Ayurverdic doctor who assessed us and gave some general advice. I had 2x ayurverdic whole body massages which was excellent. I also did a traditional Sri Lankan martial arts lesson with Dilshan which was incredible and I highly recommend as it is not often you can meet a teacher of this ancient practice

Wonderful stay, highly recommended! We had an amazing time at this resort. The room was clean and comfortable, with everything we needed. What truly made our stay special was the incredibly kind and attentive staff, they were always ready to help and often stopped by for a friendly chat, which made us feel very welcome. The massage service was excellent and very relaxing, definitely worth trying. The swimming pool was well-maintained and perfect for cooling off, and the on-site restaurant served delicious food in a great atmosphere.

Loved the atmosphere and feeling of the hotel. Wonderful and relaxing experience with great team members providing us with warm and welcoming hospitality! From the start to the end - everyone was welcoming and superfriendly, also we booked a 4-hour transfer with the driver from the hotel who did an amazing job and who literally took all opportunities to exceed our expectations and to make us feel even more welcome in this country - well-done team!

If you are a light sleeper, do not book a room close to the train tracks since they honk the horn whilst passing the crossing (also during the night, early morning), but many more rooms available!
