We stayed here twice, the staff and location are great. It's close to the beach and restaurant Toro around the corner is great. The rooftop terrace is nice.

The airport pickup guy wasn't at the meeting place, we had to search quite a while to find them. The hotel didn't respond to our messages while we were searching. On our second stay we had a double bed with 2 single matrasses, that was quite uncomfortable.The kottu in the restaurant downstairs was served with dahl which was odd.

What an incredible place to stay. I instantly felt relaxed when I arrived at the hotel as the receptionist was so warm and welcoming. I was greeted with a delicious welcome drink and told to sit down while they sorted my documents. A porter carried my suitcase and showed me my room. I slept really well in the huge bed and had an amazing 5 course breakfast in the morning. Every member of staff was really lovely. Couldn’t ask for more. The late check out was also really convenient for my evening flight home.

I thought there would be complementary yoga but the receptionist wasn’t aware of what I was talking about when I mentioned this.

Hotel located on a back road from the main street. My friend and I walked back from the main road and unfortunately had a slight incident with a youth trying his luck and following us on a motorbike, it was just outside the hotel and staff assisted us promptly and took the matter seriously. Not at all the hotels fault the behaviour of this individual but just be mindful if walking at night and get a tuk tuk to take you all the way back

Top rated restaurant in Negombo within the hotel. Rooms nice, bed comfy, shower good. Airport shuttle went smoothly. Staff excellent.

Noisy room as right above the restaurant and kitchen, struggled to sleep off the jet lag!

The room was great with a fridge, tea and coffee, air conditioning, a balcony and a lovely bathroom with a very nice shower which was powerful and had hot water. Reception staff were very helpful and we were able to leave our luggage in the hotel after checking out for a number of hours. The hotel organised the free airport drop off which arrived early and was very professional.

The spa facilities were very limited and a pool would’ve made this property better. Breakfast was very expensive compared to local cafes and when we went to reception at 7pm to request breakfast the next morning it was too late to request a Sri Lankan breakfast, we could only book continental. I am not sure how much notice they need for a Sri Lankan breakfast however we were only staying one night so did not get to try it.

Check-in was quick and easy, staff were friendly and helpful. Room was very spacious, with a good sized balcony. Great location, just a few minutes walk to the main street - with restaurants, shops and bars on hand. This was just an overnight as we had an early morning flight. The accommodation provide a free transfer to the airport, so takes the hassle out of having to sort ourselves. A takeaway breakfast was also organised as we had an early flight. Would definitely return to this accommodation.

A fantastic first stop in Sri Lanka before we headed to Sigiriya. The staff were helpful, friendly and polite. Everything was clean and professional. The breakfast was great and they were accomodating to all our questions. From the moment I booked there was clear communication and I was easily able to arrange an airport pick up and even a driver to get us to Sigiriya. Looking forward to staying again at Terrace Green at the end of our trip.

The staff were friendly and I felt safe as a sole female. The breakfast hoppers were great, as was the espresso. Nice place to have breakfast too. The beds were comfortable. It was great to have the airport shuttle included in the stay as an option (but just note you need to pay an additional $5USD for someone to meet you in the arrivals hall). You could easily walk to the beach and there were plenty of restaurants nearby.

Speaking for my wife: Very cute and cozy hotel in a very nice area close to the beach. In case you require pick up/drop off from/to the airport, the hotel team is offering to organize everything with a small amount of extra charge. So already from the start you feel very comfortable and welcomed and taken care of, especially when traveling alone as a woman. The whole team has a warm and family like behavior, which makes you feel like you enter the home of a very close friend, not a hotel. While checking in, you receive a deliciously tasty welcome drink, which, for me, was a huge benefit as I was really thirsty after a long and hot day at various airports. Usually, eating in hotels is not as good as local food but not here! These chefs are creating magic, and in case you are able to leave continental or american stuff aside and try the real sri lanka food, you will for sure be satisfied! I personally loved it and can highly recommend the Salt restaurant. Rooms are modern with air-condition, wifi minibar, providing a comfortable and fulfilling atmosphere, and if you still need something, lovely reception will help you out. I m happy, and in case I am back, Terrace Green Hotel will be my go-to place. Thank you very much for your lovely service.

Just a small point which did not really accured as a so called dislike, Online, it looks closer to the beach than it actually is. In case you are there just for a short visit, that does not bother too much. In case you want to stay longer, maybe it will be better to get somewhere closer. For me, it was no big deal. Further than that, there is nothing to mention.

The hotel staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast really big and enough for a long day. Hotel was clean and the beds were comfortable. Own, upscale restaurant (The Salt) for enjoying dinner.

The sounds of the neighboring apartments could be clearly heard in the room, as well as those of people walking in the corridor. When we asked where to buy mosquito repellent, the driver of the airport shuttle included in the room took us straight to a sales pitch of a herb garden.
