Super friendly and reliable contact with the hostess even before arrival, which gave us a good feeling when we arrived in Sri-Lanka. Bivora Villa is a family-run guesthouse in the middle of a typical Sri Lankan neighborhood. Guests stay in a separate building on the property of the host family. Yamuna prepared a local breakfast using vegetables from her garden (bananas, passion fruit). We really appreciated that. The room was clean, spacious and equipped with everything necessary (AC, table, rack to hang clothes). The beds were very comfortable.

The shared bathroom was quite simple, I would have appreciated more space to hang clothes and shelves to put things.

Yamuna is the owner/staff of this beautiful guesthouse. She provided exceptional care of everything. I originally booked with breakfast, but expanded that to full board as I found the food delicious and exceptionally spicy 🥵...loved it. The house was very quietly located in an otherwise pretty busy area. The shared bathroom was spacious and fully equipped with a nice shower (hot/cold). My room was a beautiful and brand new twin room with full shelves and drying rack.

I truly liked everything. This was my best travel accommodation experience of this past year, and I have had some good stays and places.

We were just thrilled with the view from the room! We were worried that it wouldn't be like the pictures but it was even better, the room was clean and comfortable, wifi didn't always work because of the light but that's normal in Sri Lanka. There is always hot water in the shower. Every morning we had breakfast (coffee or tea, fresh fruit, even made us porridge) The family surrounded us with comfort and care, very nice people! Also showed us a map of the island and told us how to get to different interesting places. Great accommodation!

Room was the cleanest I’ve been in all Sri Lanka. Amazing owner and nice location close to the airport and to Negombo beach (15 min with tuk tuk)

Nothing, just be aware the bathroom is shared. I didn’t understand that when I booked the room but anyway we were the only guests so it didn’t affect us at all.

Ms Yamuna was lovely and helpful, we arrived from the Airport very late, at 3am early morning and felt guilty awakening her. She helped us with only charge a little extra for our early check in. House was clean and with big yard, felt like staying at a rich people's home. Near to the airport and Negombo beach area. Recommended.

I wish i stayed longer.

WE liked the location of the place. If you want to take train or coming back with it it is very close to the station. For our one night sleepover it was perfect. With nice breakfast Made by the local lady. She helped us big time organising the car to Pick us up from the airport and then showing us the train.

WiFi wasn't working for some reason. But I believe if we would ask about it they would help us out.

It's pretty clean and modern. Have a cozy lobby and room, the host maintain this place pretty well. They also provide pick from airport. Area is quite good, between Negombo city center and airport. If you looking for couple day diving in Negombo, this place is better than hostel in Negombo city center. Suit for everyone, don't just passthrough this beautiful hostel and area.

Propery is located near by the airport. Taxi fare from the airport was around 5000. We were offered pick up by declined the offer. Very quiet homestay. Kitchen is a available to make a tea or coffee. Supermarket is few minutes away. Nice europian breakfast. Host was very helpful with helping us to get to our next stop.

It was very close to the airport (which makes it very convenient), but there was no noise from the planes. The owners accommodated a late check in, which was much appreciated. They were very communicative before check in, which was helpful. The hotel is clean and the rooms are comfortable.

The breakfast is tasty but a bit basic (bread and eggs and a banana). Due to where the kettle and toaster are, it is only possible to use one at a time - perhaps one could be moved so people can use both for breakfast. Otherwise during busy times people could be hanging around.

very difficult to get a taxi to pick you up from here, staff were unable to help/couldn’t ring one , instead we were told to walk10 minutes to the main road to hail one down to get to the airport, which was fine after a short wait.
