The host Mdm Yamuna is very friendly and accommodating. She picked us up from the airport pass midnight on our day of arrival and sent us to the airport on our day of departure when we could not even get a pick up from Uber. Her airport shuttle charges were very reasonable. She even help us pack lunch from outside on our second day when it was too hot and we were too tired to go out for lunch. Her provision of a hot and cold water dispenser in the common kitchen in addition to a kettle is most convenient. Her place is really like a home away from home and is conveniently located near the beach from which one can see glorious sunsets.

Considering the property is so close to the airport, it was an extremely quiet and calm place to relax after taking a long flight. Yamuna and all the staff were so welcoming and friendly. They arranged a taxi from the airport to the villa for a good price. The room was clean, with AC and everything you could need. Breakfast was arranged when I woke up. They were very helpful in helping me arrange my travel plans for the next day. I would definitely recommend anyone to stay here if needing a place to stay before or after going to the airport or just somewhere to relax. Thankyou so much!

The rooms were clean. There was aircon and filtered drinking water. The host was absolutely lovely. Could not help us enough. We had a very early 4am leave for the airport. The host said if we could not get a taxi to wake her up and she would sort it. This host really went above and beyond

Could have done with an extra pillow on the bed and a bed sheet instead of a blanket. Very small things because the property was great

it is just 10 mins ride from airport, i arrived at midnight, and they arranged a car to pick me up. You have to enter the house with bare feet, so the floor and everything are super clean, recommend to take a flipflop with you to toliet tho. the facilities are simple but clean and practical The host was extremly nice, they helped me to arrange a shared taxi with other guest, also very responsive with msg when i thought i left something behind

Thanks again to Yamuna and her husband for picking me up at the airport (good price). They were very benevolent with me after this long trip ! Even if it was a short stay, I really enjoyed the experience, the beds were incredible, very very clean room, towel and soap available. The environment is quiet, perfect for a good sleep. You have free drinking water which is highly appreciated ! Breakfast is correct. You have buses very close by, 5/10 minutes walking distance to reach Negombo and Colombo quickly.

ONLY one thing.... One day, i was on a long walk, when back, i was asked to open room, So guys can install new shower battery.... All great, but, it tok them over hour.... And, do you really need to do it while you have guest..? I guess, if you wait, till room is left, you still have a plenty time to do jobs...

This place is ideally located 10min away from the airport, has spacious room and comfortable bed and extremely friendly people (the owner even came to knock on my door to make sure I did not miss my 8am flight!). You can even hear the sea roaming nearby. It is a great value for money, highly recommended for late night arrivals or early morning departures!

Super friendly and reliable contact with the hostess even before arrival, which gave us a good feeling when we arrived in Sri-Lanka. Bivora Villa is a family-run guesthouse in the middle of a typical Sri Lankan neighborhood. Guests stay in a separate building on the property of the host family. Yamuna prepared a local breakfast using vegetables from her garden (bananas, passion fruit). We really appreciated that. The room was clean, spacious and equipped with everything necessary (AC, table, rack to hang clothes). The beds were very comfortable.

The shared bathroom was quite simple, I would have appreciated more space to hang clothes and shelves to put things.
