The owner's attitude, patience and care was beyond any expectation. We landed in Sri Lanka clueless of what we want to do and absolutely no plans. Dulshan (the owner) set with us for few hours explaining everything there is to know from his many years of working as a tourist guide. Needless to say that the room was amazing as well as the Villa. The breakfast that Dilu made was full and delicious, and all that with a fair price. although we were worried at first from the distance to the city, Dulshan arranged a tuktuk easily for both ways. We couldn't wish for a smoother landing in Sri Lanka.

That we didn't stay longer

The hosts Dulshan and Dilu are very warm-hearted people. We felt welcomed and comfortable from the moment we arrived! Dulshan helped us a lot (missing baggage) and gave us great tips for our on-going trip through Sri Lanka. He also organized a Tuk Tuk driver (a very nice man) that showed us different places to eat or even brought us to the bus station on the next day and waited until our bus departed. The accomodation is very clean and modern. The rooms have an AC and plenty of space! It is a lovely place to stay after a long journey - in our case from Austria - to Sri Lanka as the airport is nearby. we highly recommend this place if you want to have a pleasant start into your journey.

Absolutely nothing to complain

It was a marvelous experience! Right from the moment we arrived, the owner and his family welcomed us with open arms, making us feel right at home. They were incredibly helpful in assisting us with our travels, both within the city and to our next destination. Their valuable recommendations on places to visit made our trip even more enjoyable. The room we stayed in was simply stunning and impeccably clean. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious, truly a great way to start the day. We sincerely thank Dulshan and Dilu for their warm hospitality and outstanding service. The value for money is excellent, and we will definitely return if we have the opportunity!

Dulshan and his entire team are so incredibly welcoming. Although we didn't stay here for our entire trip they made it so special for us, by not only making us immediately feel at home but by helping us plan our trip of Sri Lanka. Everyone going to Sri Lanka should spend at least one night here. Ideally at the start of their trip as they also offer driver services. A special mention to Veejay our driver who was very attentive to us, very knowledgeable of all things Sri Lanka related and has a great sense of humour. You will be treated well everywhere in Sri Lanka but the people at Dominikku are special and will really make it personal. Thank you for making our honeymoon perfect.

Wow what an incredible way to start a trip to Sri Lanka. Dulshan and his wife are some of the most hospitable people I have ever met. Dulshan arranged for me to be picked up at the airport pretty late at night after a long flight. Him and his wife were waiting to greet me with a cold towel and a glass of juice. He showed me round his home and he really makes you feel like it is your home too. The whole place is absolutely spotless and the rooms are so comfortable, it’s exactly what you need after a long flight. Breakfast the next day was a mix between traditional Sri Lankan and English breakfast. He talked me through each dish and it was all amazing! They arranged a Tuk Tuk for me to have a look around Negombo. I was having some trouble finding the location of where my night bus was departing from and Dulshan phoned the company to make sure I would be at the right spot. I barely had to lift a finger during the stay. I wish I could have stayed longer and I can’t wait to stay again on my way out of Colombo. Thank you for everything!

Dulshan & Dilu had been super hosts since we crossed the Villa’s gate. It was 11pm, and they had been expecting us with welcome drinks, fresh towels, sandwiches, and all the kindness of Sri Lankan people. The facilities are beautiful! Wide, clean and cozy room, perfect shower and mattress. Everything is perfectly adjust for a comfortable staying! By the morning, the breakfast was a perfect mix of english, continental and Sri Lankan. Definitely, you must know this place if you’re coming to Sri Lanka! It’s a 10/10! ⭐️

Everything was perfect.

This place is exceptional. It is amazing value for money for what it is. We usually stay at hotels that are a lot more expensive than this but this was very good quality for the amount paid. We only stayed here for a very short time - in the afternoon to then fly out just past midnight, but we wanted somewhere to rest before flying back home and have a shower etc, near the airport. This place was exceptional and we only wish we had an additional night to stay here. Despite the short stay it was perfect - the hosts are so welcoming and friendly and go above and beyond to ensure everything is perfect. There was a nice welcome drink and cool towel on arrival, explanation of surroundings and property. The host organised transport with his tuk tuk to down - less than 10 minutes and very reliable and friendly tuk tuk driver. The beach area and restaurant strip is nice area to walk. The room is very modern and clean with comfortable bed, good shower, good wifi. The property is very secure and safe and nice gardens. We didn't get to have the breakfast as we didn't stay until morning but it is in a nice setting in the host's home. The host also arranged transport by car with his driver to the area which was very comfortable and reasonably priced. Overall this place is exceptional and a must stay for people starting or ending their trip in Sri Lanka who usually do so via Negombo due to it being close to the airport. However next time we would definitely stay an additional day. It was a perfect stay to our last day in Sri Lanka.

Nothing, it was all perfect.

Villa Dominikku, owned by Dulshan and his family, is a beautiful, clean homestay about 20 minutes from Negombo airport. We arrived in the early hours of the morning and Dulshan was awake and greeted us with a delicious fruit drink and refreshing towel. He showed us to our tastefully decorated garden room. The bed was extremely comfortable, shower was nice and warm, and the A/c worked well. Dulshan kindly organised a Tuk Tuk to take us down to Negombo beach area where we had a nice lunch at The Queens restaurant (traditional Sri Lankan food - delicious) and a walk on the beach. Villa Dominikku was perfect for a short stay in Negombo after a long flight. Thank you for your hospitality, Dulshan. We hope to see you again soon.

The host Dulshan and his family are really friendly. On arrival, we were offered super warm welcome with nice local juice. Everything was introduced in details around the villa. Dulshan also gave us helpful advice on our plans for exploring the city. It is so thoughtful of him. It made us feel at home. By the way, the breakfast is super good. If you’re staying there, don’t miss it.

Everything every one has written in the reviews is true, this place is perfect. We did a last minute booking and arrived in the evening and from the moment we arrived we were made to feel so welcome, and all the stress of travelling melted away. The room was really beautiful and comfortable, the breakfast was varied and delicious, and the hosts just made the experience unforgettable. I really wish we were staying longer than one night, and I will definitely return
