Incredible grounds, lovely clean and big rooms, friendly staff and excellent food. Perfect landing place after a long journey a beautiful place to acclimatise. Lots to see and explore for little and big people. Highly recommended

Only negative is no mosquito nets on beds and nowhere to hang our own. I got eaten alive

Place is very clamful and nature loving place. It is good place to stay with family. Room surrounding is completely full In garden. It has various tress, plants, flowers and butterflies. In side garden has lot of place to take photos. If your going with childrens it has playing items. Room facilities are really good, no bad smells.Bathroom all facilities are functioning. Finally I want to say future this place become like Kandalama.....

We plan to get pool experience but it is under construction. I think in future it will really good pool. I am waiting to get that experience...

Thank you Mr. Saman for making our stay wonderful! The room was perfect, with AC, a spacious desk, good internet for calls, and great room design. Mr. Saman and the staff are very kind people, hardworking, and dedicated to hospitality. They made our stay before flying to our next destination amazing. Mr. Saman also arranged a late night tuktuk for a more than honest price. We can’t wait to come back to Sri Lanka and enjoy our first nights in the country at Ceylon Kingsmen. As part of your booking, you can also access their butterfly garden filled with different types of flowers and plants. For the people complaining that you hear airplanes, you are 10 minutes away from the airport, so it’s only natural that you will hear a few airplanes taking off. However, the sound is muffled mostly in the room, so it shouldn’t be a problem at all.

The staff here is excellent - very helpful and kind. The grounds are beautiful and serene, the property is close to the airport and the rooms in the main building are adorable. We actually stayed here three times, treating it as our home base during our two-week trip around Sri Lanka. The first two times we had a so-so room in a separate bungalow near the kitchen. The third time we stayed in an upstairs room in the larger building and we much preferred this one. It was super cute, so I would recommend asking for a room on the second floor.

We would have preferred to stay in the cuter rooms of the main building all three times, but were only offered that room on the last night.

The nicest room we had in Sri Lanka, comfortable bed and clean bathroom! If you’re going to eat at the restaurant, let them know in advance. Not everything is available on a whim, so give them a heads up. It’s far from everything, which was great for us, but something to keep in mind if you aren’t wanting to Tuktuk everywhere

The host isn’t super responsive and there’s no swimming pool which is advertised.

Around 15-20 mins from the airport, the property is located inside a lovely garden that houses a butterfly park and an orchid house, among other things. The room was modern, clean, and comfortable. Pasindu at the front desk was particularly helpful.

They seemed a little understaffed while we were there, and there aren't a lot of restaurant options in the area. Our room didn't have any windows - it had a door that led to a tiny balcony.

The Ceylon Kingsmen Garden was the perfect place to start my holiday in Sri Lanka. The garden gives you the quitness/peacefulness after an exhausting flight or a day in the City (colombo or negombo) and it's just 15 minutes away from the airport. The Service was very friendly and helped anytime and the food was very delicious. I will definetly come back and the end of my trip and can recommend it to everyone who wants the balance between "place to relax" and "places to discover nearby".

Me and my partner had an exeptional experience while staying at Ceylon Kingsmen Garden hotel. The staff was super friendly and treated us with biggest respect & warmth. We got to see the gardens around and couldn’t believe how beautiful everything is, to be surrounded with butterflies and flowers! It is obvious how much passion and care the owners put into keeping and developing this place. Of course the rooms were super nice too, very cozy and super clean. Love!

The grounds are beautiful and well-maintained. It is a nice, peaceful place to stay. It is quite near to the airport and it was good to come to a restful place after the long journey. The staff are very kind and solicitous. One staff member helped us quite a bit on his day off, arranging several car rides for us at better rates than I could find anywhere on the internet. Food was nice.

We can’t think of anything we didn’t like.
