I did not partake of the breakfast - I need to depart before it started most mornings. The one morning I did have breakfast at the facility, it was good. Eggs, plain oatmeal, fruit. That's all I need! The room itself, the bed, the climate control were all fantastic. Good shower, too.

I stayed for 5 nights, so a slightly larger freezer would have been nice in order to store more frozen foods to heat for meals. The coffee maker is not great, nor is/was the coffee.

Staff on desk at both check in and check out were very friendly. Bed was comfortable. The 4 small pillows have got to go, however. 2 larger ones would be better although I have noticed this is a trend everywhere now. Shower was nice, but could use a bit more pressure. Overall, satisfied with the room.

Breakfast was one of the worst hotel self serve breakfasts I have ever had. No bowls for cereal - had to use the manufacturer's box. Toaster was very slow to heat/toast. Eggs were terrible.

The desk clerk was friendly and genuinely helpful. She was a breath of fresh air after our long and weary road trip. The room was clean...it had recently been remodeled. Beds and pillows were heaven. We enjoyed our one night stay and couldn't have asked for more other than a king size bed. 😁 Breakfast the next morning was hot and lots of options. A/C was great especially for the hot and humid Clovis weather! Lobby was extremely clean as were the bathrooms. Can't say enough about how surprised and pleased we were!

Breakfast was really disappointing. It was advertised as a warm breakfast but all it amounted to was warm sausages, some awful egg omelet made from instant dried egg powder and then probably cooked and frozen some place else and reheated to be served., They all looked exactly alike so not made at the motel. No fresh scrambled eggs for sure and no hard-boiled eggs. Then there was the cardboard, instant oatmeal that even with milk and sugar could not be made to taste like oatmeal, Nothing but cheap, instant foodstuffs..

The room was very nice, a great size, and clean. The beds were very comfortable. The room looked like it had been updated fairly recently.

The only real drawback was that the railroad was right across the street from the hotel and the trains ran all night, so it was pretty loud. Also, not great sound proofing in the ceiling. We could hear people walking around all night upstairs.

I would like to share my appreciation for Deanna, the receptionist and Miss Pai, who ran the breakfast in the mornings. I was recently stranded in Clovis, NM for two days, while waiting on car repairs, on my way to south Texas. Deanna specifically got me a room sooner than expected and went out of her way to make me feel cared for. Miss Pai was a kind ray of sunshine in the morning. She greeted everyone, was polite, asking if there was anything I needed. She took pride in her job and was excellent at it. Because of the kind staff and exceptionally clean rooms I will definitely stay here the next time I am travelling through Clovis,NM.

The train was pretty close for sleeping

I stay in similar hotels very often and in this price range, this hotel experience beats the others. It is not a fancy hotel, but it does not try to be. Clean, good staff, safe and nicely decorated. Finally, I love that this motel has an in-room Directory, very rare these days.

The bed was not level.

The room was great and the beds were comfortable. But I have to say that the breakfast was excellent. Danny the owner was so nice and friendly.

Nothing to do with the room but the air in New Mexico stinks, so it just sucked having to smell that. But the room itself did not smell.
