The place is very pretty and calm with great location just 2min from the beach. It’s on a quiet street so you avoid the noise. Room was nice and comfy with huge beds and good ac. Luis was great and made super nice omelettes in the breakfast. There was plenty of sockets as well and a small fridge. It felt safe with a locked gate.

The shower had almost no pressure and was lacking hot water often. Also a few times there was water outage. Our bathroom had an open ceiling so you could hear everything to the main room. It was a bit difficult at times to communicate only in Spanish, nobody spoke English. Full-size mirror would be nice. We had a 4 person room upstairs.

Location, and the staff, Luis y very kind, place was confortable, is a great place for bed and breakfast, if you want a place with spots to rest and leisure in the outdoor areas are very limited, but if you enjoy peace, beach proximity, and walk around this is your place, we walk to the beach with my kids to snorkel every day we enjoy the beach and restaurants A LOT!

Limited areas to rest outdoors, may be a couple of chairs to have sun a sofa or a hammock in the common area would be great

Beautiful place! Very calm. Very cosy. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good and comfortable bed. Beautiful and clean bathroom with good water pressure and hot water. I fell in love with a wireless charger with a small speaker and a night lamp. Mosquito nets on all the windows. Good working and well located A/C and a ceiling fan. A lot of light which I love, but at the same time good curtains for those who don't like it. They provided a few complimentary bottles of water and many towels. Good enough breakfasts. Very nice dining area by the pool. 3 min walk to the main beach of Las Terrenas and close to multiple restaurants, bars and boutiques. Good Wi-Fi

El Rincon de Abi is a little gem hidden in the chaos of Las Terrenas. It is located away from the traffic yet close enough to allow you to reach the beach and main restaurants on foot. What we appreciated the most was the kindness of the hosts - Kamilah, one of the owners, was super nice to us and kept our luggage safe before check in time. We were also provided with beach towels so we could enjoy the day at the beach before we were allowed to check in. She was also really helpful in giving us tips and recommendations for places to eat and visit. The entire place seems to be recently renovated, the room was very spacious with a little patio outside, enormous bathroom with an amazing shower and big plus - conditioner was provided! There was also a fridge in the room and unlimited water refills available from the kitchen. The hosts are super accommodating and let us have breakfast before the official breakfast time as we wanted to leave earlier. The rest of the staff was also super smiley and kind. Overall, a great stay!!!

There was a little squeaky noise coming from outside at night (probably the AC engine?) but nothing that would prevent us to have a sound sleep!

Very clean and fairly new property. Above expectation. Only 3mn walk to the sea front and 5mn to restaurants/bars, yet very peaceful at night assuring good night sleep. Super comfortable. Safe. Loved the service: Luis was a star! And the best breakfast we’ve ever had in our 2-week holiday in the DR

Shower pressure very low and hot water long to come. No ceiling in the toilet / shower area (only a wall separating it from the bedroom)

Everything. Perfect location. Lovely new accommodations and amazing host Khamila! I would for sure come back and recommend this place to my friends! It felt as if it was home. We had such a great stay! And Khamila helped us a lot with booking excursions, taxis etc. She was always there for us!

Very close to main strip and restaurants, within walking distance. Very calm no noise of the street, which is not easy to find central place without noise of motorcycles/vehicles in Las Terrenas. To the nice beaches need car or uber. Clean, Comfortable beds, two large twin beds, good a/c, nice design showers with nice shower gel and shampoo . Nice breakfast on the site.

Staying here was my favorite thing about Las Terrenas. It has a very tranquil, quiet, relaxing feel to it, almost like a retreat. It has its own grounds, so it almost feels like a resort. The breakfast buffet was really good. The best thing about it is it it is a very short walk from the beach, but it is not right on the beach, which is lined by the town’s main street, which is full of noisy motorbikes all the time. Also, the main street has lots of bars, playing music. You can’t hear the motorbikes or the music from El Rincón de Abi. Also, they have had a change of ownership. I had read some sarcastic, snarky online comments by the previous owners, a French couple, which concerned me. But Camila, who runs the place now, is so cheerful, friendly and helpful. It was a great value for the price. And even though my room didn’t have AC, the ceiling fan was very strong so I never felt hot.

they should serve breakfast til 11 AM, instead of stopping at 10. But if you are a late riser, you can use their kitchen and fridge to make your own breakfast.

The staff are excellent. Very attentive to needs...and very friendly. The location is great. A 2 block walk to restaurants and the beach...but in a quiet and tranquil area.

Very nice, cute hotel. Rooms on the smaller side. Very good customer service! The guy at the reception was super nice and he also was the cook for the breakfast ! Very delicious omelet by the way! Location is very convenient!
