This is VERY conveniently located. Cross the street and you are at the beach. You are also walking distance from restaurants, bodega (literally next door), clubs, etc. Breakfast was good with made to order eggs, bacon, sausage and potatoes along with the usual fruits, yogurts and pastries. Front desk staff was polite.

We had a hot water issue initially and there were some ants in kitchen...but nothing too major. Not the hotels fault as my spanish is limited...but It was a bit difficult to communicate even with google translate. This is just something to note and brush up on spanish before you go to DR.

I came back to this hotel a second time after 9 years. I stayed here for a week with my husband to kite surf. It is very close to the kite surf beach and schools (walking distance) and also right by the center of town where all the restaurants/bars are. The hotel is beautiful and spacious, nice pool area with bar, the rooms are very spacious and super clean, breakfast is really nice and is served until 11:30 a.m., no mosquitoes... we absolutely loved it and will come here again!

Breakfast was one of the best I’ve been served with an extremely generous time span of 7:30-11:30 so we didn’t need to worry about missing it if you wanted to sleep in. The apartment was huge and had everything you need with an amazing pool area literally steps from your room and the beach a few steps further. We were worried to hear loud music from cars and scooters on the balcony and in the living room but the bedrooms were so soundproof we had amazing sleeps. The staff is the best. They can arrange pickup and tours and whatever you need. They even text me that a massage day was available and could be in the private gazebo by the pool or your room if you preferred. What a treat! I don’t understand any of the negative reviews because this place was beyond our expectations.

There wasn’t really anything negative. I guess maybe the king bed was a bit hard for my preference but that’s better than a sagging lumpy one I guess!

Loved our second stay here even more than the beautiful first stay. Beautiful, enchanting small hotel with sparkling clean pool and premises. Evenings are so pretty at the hotel. Staff was wonderful. In a lively area yet still very peaceful and quiet at the hotel. Steps away from the action. Breakfast was simple and lovely. Walking distance to restaurants. We chose to rent an ATV and drive 8-10 minutes to Las Ballenas Beach. Beautiful!!

The hotel is in a good location to walk to placed for dinner, shopping, etc. You can also walk to different beach locations rather than go directly in front of the hotel. The breakfast was just right for us with coffee, juice, and teas, a small selection of fruits, breads/cakes, and toast. You can also order pancakes, eggs, bacon, sausage, etc. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The pool area is nice and while we were there was not busy for most of the day, which was a great treat to be able to relax enjoy the pool. The room setup was perfect for us and was well cleaned with a nice little kitchen area for us to make a meal when needed. Our pets were welcomed by the staff and loved on them as if they were their own. It is a great location to walk on the beach and you can go pretty far if you like walking. We walked between Punta Popy and Las Ballenas Beaches a few times. We will definitely stay here again.

The beach across the road is very close, but not very clean. It is not a big deal as we just walked down a ways and drove to other beaches that were really close by. It is still a great location and we enjoyed the walks on the beach, so not a deal breaker for us.

Spacious apartments with huge balconies. Lots of stuff around. Well maintained. Nice pool. Lots of light.

Strange pool towel policy, where they expect guests to carry around physical tokens so that they can strictly control towel usage. Extremely small trash can and very limited supplies in kitchen ( no paper towels, coffee only for 2 )

Room was great, daily cleaned and swept.

Didn't like the staff shutting down my request to allow my 4-yr old grandchild to also swim in the pool. It forced us to always go to their condo to swim with him, our daughter and son-in-law. It seemed such a small request which would have given him immense joy at no cost to the hotel or staff.

Huge pool, and close to the sea. Very spacious room, especially the covered terrace. Good location with many restaurants within walking distance. Lovely breakfast overlooking the sea with lots of fruit and good choices! Eg pancakes! We found some of the best souvenir shops in DR in this town!

WiFi was a bit annoying - slow. Also found sunbeds uncomfortable.

It’s a beautiful place and the service was very good. What should be offered or advertised is a shuttle into Las Terraneas. The hotels in the area should have an affiliation with restaurants and retail stores. The area should have more child friendly activities. We would come back again a beautiful area.

There should be better access to the tourist areas of Las Terraneas.
