Perfect location on a beautiful, clean, quiet beach. Friendly, helpful staff. Relaxing, tranquil resort. Lovely garden and large pool. Large apartment with full kitchen. Nice balcony. Great wifi and air-conditioning in the room. We had room 26 and really enjoyed it. Secure parking for our rental car. We really enjoyed the breakfast buffet right on the beach every morning. It was one of the highlights during our stay. Also loved the beach chair to relax on under the palm trees. Great location for walking distance to town, surrounding restaurants, grocery, souvenir shops. We would stay here again and recommend to others.

Hummingbirds have always been special to us and Hotel Playa Colibri lived up to it's name! The property was absolutely lovely. The grounds were beautiful and well maintained. The staff went above and beyond, working their collective magic to make sure we had a wonderful stay. We were touched and grateful for all the efforts of Yury, Aron, Pedro, Saul, Hemie(spelling) - the housekeeping and restaurant staff. WE look forward to returning in the future! Oh and we loved the Holiday decorations "magically" appearing on Dec.1st. Thank you!!!

We enjoyed the whole experience. We were celebrating our anniversary and the staff made it special. We opted for full board and were surprised at the quality and variety of food. We enjoyed relaxing by the pool and it was great to swim in, so clean. The apartment was traditionally Dominican and very well maintained, having everything we needed. They had thought of everything, even the Cork screw. Air-conditioning units and fans were in each room. Even a fan on the patio.

We should have stayed longer than 2 nights!

I loved the hotel entrance, so pretty and tropical great for pictures. I loved the restaurant being right on the beach. Karaoke was very entertaining! The beach was absolutely beautiful and clean. My son loved the pool and it was great to see him enjoying the water. The hotel room was lovely and clean and very spacious! I would definitely book here again.

I feel that the waitress at the restaurant could have been a bit more quick or engaged. Simple orders like water or a juice took a really long time to receive. They were very friendly and the food was well presented.

Spacious, clean, comfortable and nicely decorated 1-bedroom apartment. Beautiful tropical grounds and pool area. Excellent beach location. Tasty breakfast right on the beach.

Kitchen could use some upgrades and a small microwave would be handy. Hotel was kind enough to get us a microwave after we made a request. We had a few unexpected rain showers during breakfast, so it would be useful for hotel to have more food area coverage on the beach.

The hotel was right on the beach and had its own restaurant that provided wonderful meals, that were priced reasonably, either in the comfort of your room or right on the beach. The staff was wonderful. Breakfast was included and was buffet style. Bed was comfortable and amenities were great. I was pleasantly surprised.

The lights kept going out so that meant the air conditioner kept going out as well. This was not a hotel issue but was a whole town issue. The good thing was that each room had its own fan as well as the air conditioner that continued to work despite the main power going out.

The apartment style of the room, the terrasse, the kitchen and staff cleaning the dishes, the 2 sofas in living room and on terrasse, the wonderful garden, the swimming pool, the silent guests, the location just next to the beach.

Breakfast was very poor, we made our own breakfast. The small street between the hotel and the beach has a lot of moto traffic which is noisy, staff could have been more attentive, but we didn't really had to deal with most of them.

Location and the views were amazing. Great pool and very friendly staff. Nice food options for the all inclusive packages

The wait for the food was very long but it wasn't too big of a deal since it is served on the beach but if you are very hungry, that could be an issue

Food was delicious, one day was buffet and then next day a la carte. The room was very ample with kitchen and dining table. We cooked dinner one evening. The beach front was beautiful and most of the staff was very friendly.

There were mosquitos in the room and you have to be insistent with reception to send someone to fumigate

The location right in front of the beach . The pool , the garden , the kitchen. I heard the birds singing in the morning . We enjoyed having breakfast on the beach.

Not enough pillows and the blanket was not comfortable.
