I was initially disappointed with the price I paid for the room size, a week later the owner of the property called me and informed that he would like to refund 1k because of smaller room allocation and apologised for the clerical mistake by the employee. Am replacing my previous review with this, not many property owners acknowledge the reviews. Appreciate the review consideration and effort to validate the same.

Had a wonderful stay at Avenue 11 Premium Stays in Madurai. The standout feature of this property is undoubtedly the staff — incredibly courteous, attentive, and always ready to help. The breakfast was delicious and served with great care and hospitality, making the mornings feel warm and welcoming. Overall, a great experience — the staff truly make this place feel special. Just hope the keycard power issue gets fixed soon.

A small technical hiccup worth noting: during power cuts, when the generator kicks in, the room power doesn’t automatically resume due to an issue with the keycard holder. For future travelers — if you face this, simply remove the key card from the holder, wait a few seconds until you see a small red light blink, and then reinsert the card. That should restore power.

Morning buffet is very good. Even though not many options available, the food offered in the buffet is very good quality and just right enough to kick start your morning. The facility is closer to various eateries.

The front desk staff are not professional, could be more welcoming and friendly. The coffee served was not good.

This hotel was one of the cleanest and well maintained property we have stayed so far in India. The staff and the manager/owner were very accommodating and kind. We loved our stay and will definitely choose this stay again.

The room floors were a bit dusty even after they cleaned, and since we had to pray it was a bit uncomfortable. Also the restaurant and cutlery’s can be checked and maintained better.

Rooms are very clean. Staff is very polite and courteous. The owner had good recommendations for us on shopping etc. Breakfast options were very good. Room service was prompt.

The coffee and tea were from packets which made them quite artificial and sweet in taste. Rooms need a kettle so guests can make their own tea/coffee.

Breakfast was good. Served hot from the adjacent kitchen. What we especially liked was the dinner chapathi, dhall fry. The aloo partha was exceptional, with just the right amount of potato filling and cooked to paratha perfection. The room was quite neat, as was the bathroom, though hot water took some time to come. Good car parking in front. Space is available for drivers, though a tad bit on the higher side. attentive staff and owner.

Due to an accident, the program changed, and we had to stay here on the return trip. The price at this point in time, as compared to earlier, was frankly exorbitant—nearly double. For those whose main aim is visiting the temple, this is a bit far, but on a positive note, the surrounding area is neat, clean, and not at all noisy.

The room was super spacious and had all the necessary facilities: - beds were comfortable - bathroom's shower had no issue - AC worked flawlessly - bottled water was available as a "welcome" package Staff was great, the lady at the counter helped us with all our requests and special requirements: many thanks for arranging a cab to visit the temples and the transfer to the airport. She also recommended a place to go to for lunch and it didn't disappoint. We tried the in-house "restaurant" for both dinner and breakfast. We liked the food, especially the Dosa and the Paneer Manchurian. Although we had to move around by cab/tuk tuk, the location was good for visiting both the Alagar Kovil temple, the Meenakshi temple and Royal Palace. A big plus is that they accept payment with international cards. We were able to pay both the room and the dinner with our European card. Overall we were satisfied with our stay!

Room cleanliness could be improved: beds lining and some of the towels had very light stains. Also some corners of the room were a little bit dusty. This could very well be a Madurai thing, but the surrounding area shocked us a little bit. Be prepared for a stark contrast between the modern style and cleanliness of the property and the poor condition of all the houses/roads in the rest of the neighborhood/city.

It is a fairly new facility in a quiet part of town. There are water coolers on every floor, and the wifi and air-conditioning were reliable. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was ample and delicious, and the manager took pride in making sure we tried the local specialties.

They keep mothballs in the bathroom sink presumably to cover up smells from the drain. Keeping the door closed kept it out of the room but you still had to endure it while using the bathroom. Also it is tucked away in a residential area of town, which made for quiet sleeping, but we needed to help autorickshaw drivers navigate there from the main tourist area. It was also a distance from the central restaurants, which made finding a place nearby the was open during the Pongal holiday challenging.

This is a small boutique hotel conveniently located in a quiet area. We loved the peace and quietness and enjoyed the restful sleep in the nights. It was quite easy to get about from the hotel to places of interest. The staff including the owner were super helpful. The breakfast spread was great. and in-house dining options were available. I would highly recommend the hotel to anyone who wants to have a comfortable and quality stay in Madurai at an affordable price.

The place is very clean and well kept(the pictures are after the use). The toilet and the bath area were also very clean(might not be evident in the pictures). Has a covered parking space for around 4 cars, rest will be parked outside. It's a new building and the staff is very supportive. The breakfast was delicious 😋 and the manager was very supportive and a genuine person. He helped us book cabs, told us about the places to visit nearby and helped us with any further queries that we had. This place is 4.8km from the main Meenakshi temple, on the other side of the river Vaigai and we were suggested not to take our car but to book a cab as the parking facility near the temple isn't very great. We visited the place during the event of Goddess Meenakshi's wedding so the temple area was a little crowded. Overall, a very nice and clean place to stay. Thumbs up to the team!

It's in a residential area but that wasn't a problem.
