This hotel was truly a paradise. The premises and the room are very well kept! The massage and the pool were my highlight! The breakfast was nice

I think they could improve something at the restaurant and bar. In the evening it was empty and the hotel next doors were full. The food was not bad but just not wow like anything else in the resort. Also since the resort is big provide a service who brings bags at reception. I would definitely stay here again

Our villa was stunning – spacious, tastefully decorated in traditional Thai style, and impeccably clean. One minor downside was that the tide in the afternoon made the beach less usable, but honestly, this was insignificant compared to everything else the resort offers.

Firstly the staff are so proud of their hotel and are very professional. The grounds are fantastically maintained and preened. It is a small complex so you're never far from the sea. it's a quiet location, with a great restaurant and the breakfast is superb. The pool area is beautiful and sound of the sea and frogs is just magical. Each room has its own water petal display which is lovingly changed each day. Special thanks to Dow and Arm , 2 amazing people!! All of the staff are fantastic and add to the serenity of the whole place. It's official website and other pictures don't do it justice at all. We Will 100% visit again in the future. We stayed at another venue in the area which is five star however we preferred this one because of the way we were treated, the peacefulness of the venue and how we were generally looked after and it's beauty. The rooms have great amenities and good quality furniture and the bedding is also high quality. Every food or drink item we ordered was presented with pride and looking like a piece of art. Outstanding value for money. You can hire a good quality moped as well and also laundry is extremely quick and cheap and folded to perfection

It would be nice to have another toilet in the pool area instead of just the one in the restaurant near the kitchen

Everything about this place is fabulous. The staff were super friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. The resort is beautiful, especially the gardens—you can really see the love and care that went into them. We loved the pool, the direct beach access, and the cozy area with comfy beach chairs. Breakfast was delicious, and the rooms were clean and spacious. A perfect spot to relax and unwind.

It would have been great to have mosquito nets in the rooms, but the resort does provide mosquito repellent, which is a nice touch.

We had a lovely stay here for 5 nights (bungalow on the beach - no 2). The garden and facilities were fantastic - and we especially liked the floral displays which were changed every day. The location was very good, quiet and tranquil. Many of the reviews talk about the rocky beach at low tide - low tide lasts for 4-5 hours - the rest of the time, the beach is perfect for swimming. Plenty of loungers, seating, bean bags for everyone - there are only 9 bungalows - so a small resort making it very special. A good breakfast selection (though Thai breakfast needs to be ordered the day before), freshly cooked - and beautifully served by Arm. We only had dinner once in the hotel - the food was good - but we chose to eat at one of the many restaurants/ bars on the beach on other nights - all of which were within walking distance of the resort. We arrived at 19.30-20.00 - and were concerned by the music in the bar next door, and the fire show/music in the one next to that ….. however, the music in both finished at 21.00. So we weren’t disturbed at all. And one night we went to the fire show - it’s worth seeing and it’s traditional.

Nothing - it was just great! We’d come again in a heartbeat and will recommend to other friends.

Stayed here for 3 days, 2 nights with my mum and we had an amazing time! Everything was so beautifully decorated and the beach was so quiet, pristine and clear, and the staff were so friendly and welcoming! The place had a laundry service, motorbike rental service and a massage service. We did the coconut oil massage and I was feeling so light and relaxed by the end of it. Honestly one of the best massages I’ve ever had! Me and my mum couldn’t ride motorcycles, but just a seven minute walk away is a Seven-Eleven and some Tuk-Tuk Taxis. We took the taxi to the Lanta Walking Street (outdoor market selling food, clothes and souvenirs) and it costed 300 baht. The breakfast was simple yet delicious and they also had lunch and dinner options which were a bit limited but all good choices. Along the beach there were other restaurants offering more dinning options. Furthermore, right outside the resort there was a shop that sold snorkelling and island hopping tours to places like Phi Phi and Koh Rok.

Nothing! Everything was perfect for us and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting a quiet relaxing beach getaway. If I ever come back to Koh Lanta I’ll be sure to book this place again!

Everything! The staff is outstanding. They go out of their way for you. Breakfast has everything you need: fresh fruit, coffee, toast and they prepare fresh eggs, pancakes and french toast for you. It was probably the cleanest and best maintained resort we stayet at in Thailand. The garden villas are very spacious, clean and comfortable. The location right at the beach is lovely. At low tide swimming is impossible, but there is plenty of time at high tide. Lots of restaurants and bars at the beach. Would definitely recommene eating at Jeab‘s dining next door and the Green Chilli (10‘ walk to the right). Would come back any time!

The resort was very clean, the gardens were very well maintained. The staff were so lovely. The food from the resort was good too. Gorgeous views from the hotel of the beach.

If you want to go swimming the beach is a bit rocky. But there are plenty of beaches in the area to visit so this wouldn't stop me going.

Wow, what a hidden gem! The Baan Thai Resort exceeded all our expectations. We were left speechless by the quality of the hospitality of the staff, grounds, food and our room. We were welcomed by a big smile from Mareena (front desk) fantastic home cooked meals from Mai and all your hospitality needs by Too -and Baanthai the cat. The resort grounds were manicured daily and the fit and finish to every well placed ornament complimented the feel. All rooms were surrounded by lush foliage and trees. There was nothing out of place. Every morning the staff decorated large bowls with fresh flowers and hand picked petals grown on site. The food offered was flavourful and made with a true home cooked feel. The rooms were immaculate, clean, and quiet. If you’re into a party atmosphere, it’s available down the beach, but this resort excels in a professional, quiet, relaxing stay. We would rate our experience a 12 out of 10 if we could

We tried to extend our stay, but they were booked. Absolutely nothing negative about this resort.

It's the most beautiful hotel on the entire island. Very well kept grounds, good food, friendly staff. There are only a few bungalows, so this place will never be crowded. There is enough space for every guest to find a private, quiet place to relax. We had a see-view villa. I loved lounging od the porch, looking at the waves.

The aircon unit was loud. It was tricky to get hot water from the shower.
