It’s was very quaint. The room was wonderful. We booked a sea view. We arrived around 6:30pm, as we walked into our room the sun was setting and we had a beautiful view/first impression. The breakfast was delicious. Close to Lawsons and 7-11, made it easy for our kids to walk over and get ice cream treats on their own. There was no one on the beach and for the most part we were the only ones at the pool. The beach was fun for seashell hunting and snorkeling.

The pool closed early, 7pm. Would have been nice to if it was open a bit longer.

The hotel was very clean and the room was spacious. We had a large balcony overlooking the water, comfortable beds, kitchen, a jacuzzi tub, and great shower. The pool was nice and the beach was a short walk. The hotel lobby had great coffee, utensils, pool towels and umbrellas to borrow. The facilities were spotless and the staff were helpful and kind.

The property could be improved with the following small changes: - provide lounge chairs with umbrellas on the beach. No sun umbrellas were available so we had to pay another hotel to rent them. - the lights in the exterior hallway of the hotel are right beside the bedroom windows which made it difficult to sleep

Tucked away on the outskirts of Onna, Odysis is a simple yet beautiful apartment/hotel. The rooms are equipped with a jacuzzi bath, which was extra special. Cooking equipment can be hired for a small fee, which for us in our third week in Japan was a welcome surprise. The beach is literally 15m from the swimming pool, and is reasonably quiet considering next door is a large package hotel with watersports options (which you can also use, Odysis supplied a discount to the 'visitor' fee.

The beach after 9am did become a little busy with dive boats using loud compressors, and jet skis taking tourists around, but there are so many other beaches around it wasn't really an issue.

It was a really nice place, quiet, beautiful views, good swimming pool and the snorkelling was actually quite good. Best place is beyond the buoys. But watch out for the bloody waterscooters from the next door hotel. Restaurants closeby (dont understand people saying there are no restaurants nearby, you might have to walk 10-15 minutes but hey....) Last but nit least: super friendly personnel!

Not much really, but if I would have to say something: Breakfast was good, but quite simple and not a lot of choice.

At first I thought the place felt a bit ‘plastic’ but I was lucky to have a sea view room. The apartments are huge! I enjoyed lazing in the hammocks and being at the private beach and using the hot tub at sundown. Very convenient for the shuttle bus, though otherwise tricky to travel to the city or further north quickly. Can walk easily to the big resort nearby to the observation pier.

As much as I appreciate that the breakfast included, it was limited. There isn’t a cafe/restaurant and not a lot of good fresh food/fruit options

The rooms are spacious and spotless . Great sea view from the bathtub. Comfy beds. The washing machine in the room is a great addition and makes the stay even more comfortable. Great welcome booklet in the room, it answers all the questions that you might have. Nice pool area and the beach is less than 5 minutes from the hotel. Great guy working in reception, so helpful. We enjoyed the small breakfast.

A news channel in English language would be welcomed but I would not consider this a negative point for the hotel, is simply an observation

Spacious, clean room with new facilities and attention to small details to make the stay comfy. Clean appliances, sheets, etc. Friendly staff and English-speaking front desk. Instructions provided in the room for the various appliances. Hotel near airport shuttle bus stop and local bus stop(no. 20 & 120). Shower and toilet are in separate rooms. Washing machine available in the room. Love the small lane leading to the beach. Sea view from roof top is fantastic.

Booked a room with seaview but trees are tall that only able to see tiny view of the sea.

The property was beautiful! We stayed in a room with a balcony and gorgeous bathtub with a view. The breakfast in the morning was delicious with coffee, tea, and water available all day. The resort had beach access and a nice pool. Our favorite part of the stay was the staff. Everyone was so kind, but specifically Gerald. He went above and beyond to make sure my sister and I had a comfortable stay. Gave us insight about the island and places to go and called taxis when we needed them. The kindness of the staff made this stay a 10/10!

Excellent location on the beach (you can hear the waves at night) Staff was friendly and helpful (translation app comes in handy) There is a Lawsons right next door and a few places to eat within walking distance. The rooms were spacious and the addition of a washing machine was great! The pool was very relaxing! Breakfast was lovely and fresh however a choice between two items made on the spot. The ice, coffee and free water until 10pm is an excellent idea ! It’s an older style building but beautifully maintained - would highly recommend !

The beds were a little too soft for me personally but still very comfortable The beach is more like a stretch of water - where you can lay on the sand. It’s not a big resort (there is one a short few mins walk where you can hire umbrella/chairs for the day).

Definitely the staff. They were always attentive without being intrusive. Very friendly and helpful. Like the location of the property - near to beaches good for snorkeling, great sunsets, and accessible to convenience stores and many great eateries.

The drying facility in the bathroom is not conducive if you have family’s load of clothes to dry. When we needed to bath or use the jacuzzi we had to shift the clothes all over the place. Just put in a dryer.
