Safe undercover bike storage in a locked cellar easily accessible and near the elevator at the night entrance. Good air conditioning with individual control. Block-out shutters and safety barriers on traditional windows. Our third floor room had a lovely view over the Lahn River and bridge. Safe, kettle and refrigerator in room; with a small table and two comfortable chairs. Good modern bench space, wardrobe space and luggage storage, and carpeting. Large modern bathroom. Good quality smart TV. Easy walk to the schloss next door, and local restaurants. Friendly helpful staff (until departure).

We had no complaints until departure, when an unattended reception desk delayed us by 10-15 minutes. Turns out the receptionist was off getting food in the kitchen. Surely a better time for this to be done is after the official check-out time of 11am.

Reception - very friendly, polite, relaxing and attentive Room - spacious, quiet, clean, necessary utilities are provided, seating space near the window : Swimming pool - comfortable water temperature, warm water shower, relaxing chairs, towel : very attentive Entertainment - Sauna, fitness, billiard, table-tennis : all in one area to be easily reached. Breakfast included in the price - personnel are friendly and always smiling Direct parking area in front of the entrance Location - sightseeing areas eg Schlosspark, museum, castle just nearby

Bathroom - Wash basin is too flat to hold water, all area around is wet whenever I use it for hand-washing, tooth-brusing ... Shampoo and shower gel are not organic (with natural ingredients) Room - no night light, room temperature can't be adjusted Restaurant - dinner buffet like catering but not fresh cooked

The Schloss had an excellent breakfast and restaurant. It had a very Middle Ages ambiance and next to the old town square. The staff spoke excellent English. It was a small quaint village, but the newer part had Aldi grocery store and fast food if that is what you want The room had a spiral staircase up to the sleeping area

the receptionist was helpful and kind. The sauna had robes and slippers as you had to take the lift. Breakfast was quiet... but good. Parking was inside the area conveniently.

The restaurant for dinner had very little patrons and we found out why--a rude waiter drove us to leave too. The rooms were cold, modern and blank but the view was lovely. We never got to see the castle. I would like to come back and see that.

A reserved parking area was made available as we all had classic sports cars and were concerned about security. Great pool and games facilities.

No complaints, although initially hard to find location.

My sisters and I were on vacation with our aunt 88 years old. We had a great time at this nice hotel that was within walking distance of everything we wanted to do. Very good location, in the city center where there are lots of good places to eat. And everything in walking distance

Lovely hotel in old castle buildings, with a very spacious and modern room still having the feel of a castle through exposed walls. Hotel has a sauna and swimming pool as well, and I was surprised to also see two separate tv/reading rooms for relaxing. Breakfast was lovely as well.

The only thing missing were curtains, so the room will have some light coming in - not too bad though but if you need full darkness that's difficult. Wasps are present in the forests around town, so depending on the time of year they'll be around during breakfast and dinner (anywhere in town so not something the hotel can do about - but they do fly into the breakfast room when doors are kept open).

The single room is a bit spartan. They could provide a bottle of water for free rather than stacking the bar fridge with to-pay-for items.

A lovely hotel in an excellent location. We had a very nice room, on entering we had a wardrobe and settee and then a spiral staircase up to the next level where our comfortable bed was in a very large room with a good on-suite. The breakfast was good with lots of choice.

It was very hot in the room being up on the top floor, we opened the windows on a tilt but didn’t like to open them fully Incase a pigeon got in. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed for the evening and we had hoped to eat in the hotel.
