The staff member who welcomed us was very friendly and helpful. The room, supposedly budget, was well above what we expected. Roomy, comfortable, fully supplied. Parking for the car was right outside the room. The bed was comfortable. Everything worked as it should.

Parking was terrible for a vehicle / trailer combination, even when the parking area was empty. We had asked in advance if this combo could be accommodated, were assured that it could, but this turned out to be only possible when the trailer was uncoupled an man-handled around. We could not leave in the morning until most of the other cars had departed.

My partner and I stayed in the studio room, and our cats were well accommodated too. The entire process, from booking to check-in and check-out, was seamless and user-friendly. After an eight-hour drive with two cats, finding a comfortable place to rest for the night couldn’t have been better. They also have a restaurant that serves Indian food satisfying enough to fill our bellies and ensure a peaceful sleep.

The mattress was a bit firm for our liking and the gaps under beds (cats loved it) gave my partner and I hard time getting the furry babies ready for check out. Also the beds were already damaged from underneath makes me think other previous pets must have liked hiding underneath too.

Angel's Rest is a great place to stay in Moree. It is a standard motel and looking in need of an upgrade in some facilities but the customer service is remarkable. We left SE Qld very late afternoon having been delayed in house cleaning and packing our trailer for house move to Melbourne. We researched using GPS estimating we would arrive in Moree about 9.30 pm and rang ahead to make sure it was okay to arrive late and could get parking to accommodate our 10m ute and trailer rig. The office normally closes at 8.30pm and the owner offered to stay up to help us to unhitch the trailer and park. In fact the GPS didn't correctly adjust for daylight saving. When we realised we wouldn't arrive until after 11pm (after problems with the trailer) we rang and got entry instructions. The owner was so so helpful in every way. It made an otherwise fraught moving experience so much easier to handle. The bed was very comfortable And the cost (given my Booking.com discount) was amazing!!! Fab quality courtesy biscuits - macadam shortbread and chocolate chips.

The overnight rate was excellent for the facilities and service provided. Great location, just out of the town center. Very quiet. Not a new facility, however it was very clean and comfortable. Australian and Indian meals, to rooms, are available also. Additionally, I felt safe and happy with the security arrangements overnight. The entrance gate is closed and locked from 9pm to 6am every day, but a code to the gate is supplied for those who wish to leave in the early morning.

The location is fantastic as I need to use the Moree Thermal Baths and meet friends off the Train without driving.

I liked everything really that is why I am a returning customer. The couple of improvements that could be made is to ensure the outside BBQ is fully serviced and working at all times. We are responsible guests and do not want strong cooking smells to contaminate rooms OR set off fire alarms. The other matter is check all lights are functioning every cleaning. My kitchenette fluro was really unuseable due to flickering. The staff are excellent, helpful and attentive, I cannot praise them highly enough.

Everything was super clean. I’ve stayed in pet friendly places which were not but this property, though old, was spotless. There is a little kitchen so if you want to do your own food you can. The food I ordered through them came in a timely manner and was delicious. Australian and Indian food is available, I chose Indian. Everyone was friendly and helpful.

Only two things and the first brings me to the other. The property has nowhere to walk dogs for toileting so you need to go out of the gates and these are locked around 9pm, open around 6am. You need to unlock the combination lock to do so. The numbers are small and hard to read in the dark, even though a security light comes on and impossible to do from the outside meaning you have to leave it unlocked to toilet your dog. I’m sure there’s a better system.

Normally we travel with one dog, but this time we had 2, paid the fee for 2 dogs, but taking the dogs out for quick walks at night is hard as there is no grassed areas inside the gated area.

May have been a miscommunication or culture thing, my partner asked for a mop as we had dogs and it was raining, so paw prints in the motel room. Someone gave us a mop, but then someone else came in and demanded I stop mopping the floor and quickly snatched the mop off me.

The location of this hotel is close to the Artesian Aquatic Centre and although we didn't visit it due to time restraints it is a very short walk to that facility. One of the few budget motel rooms with an oven and cooktop, allowing a quick cook of dinner or breakfast if you wish. Gates are locked after hours which seems to be a standard thing in Moree, which is a shame yet provides appropriate security.

The room was cosy, comfortable, and very clean. The bed was comfy and pillows were perfect. The staff at the hotel could not have been more friendly or helpful, even booking dinner at a beautiful Indian restaurant in town on our behalf (Moree Indian Restaurant - the food was exceptional).

Nothing! It was exactly as advertised, and great value for money.

Easy location to access. Security was evident (car park gates locked at night and security grilles on exterior windows). The room had a serviceable kitchenette and larger refrigerator than normal. Bedding was good, as was the bathroom layout. Hot water for shower and good water pressure. For the price of Genius 3, this was a great stay.

We got what we paid for, so nothing negative to mention. Would only be suitable for a short stay.
