Great location right on the lake. Clean room. Kitchenette in the room made a great addition. Parking right outside the door. Comfortable mattress, great shower - hot water, fantastic pressure. Our dog was welcome. Thank you for the coffee pods for the breakfast! We didn't use any amenities, but they looked fantastic - we will definitely plan for them next time, as we will be back!

We rented a budget room, with a bunk bed so it was tiny. We knew renting it it's not going to be large, but it was smaller than expected. It was still totally fine for one night, but it gave a ship quarters vibe, so if it's not your ting, or you're a larger person, or travelling with a larger suitcase, pick a bigger room :) (we were offered a bigger room so it's not a complaint!) Internet was really slow - this was the only downside.

Clean, comfortable, plenty of space, very attentive staff. Thank you for a pleasant stay.

Please install bug screens on the windows. It's nice to sleep with the windows open but the mosquitos get in causing great discomfort.

We loved the one night stay at Barry Memle hotel. The location right at the lake was top, walking distance from all the bars & restaurants. The staff (Cathy) was very nice & helpfull. The room was big & spacious, very well equipped. They have thought of everything.

The decor in the rooms is a bit too colourful, not really super tasty. But thats just a very small & not significant thing.

The apartment was clean and modern. The hosts were very friendly and helpful with recommendations. Parking was easy. The breakfast was good. The hotel made a good base for exploring the area.

Nothing in particular. We were using the sofa bed so the seating in the living area was pretty crowded. Some complimentary tea or coffee and dish soap in the kitchen would have been nice.

The location is gorgeous and quiet. You could not be closer to the lake. The room was big enough and was spotlessly clean. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. I like that we could rent bikes there. There was plenty of parking for us. Wifi was good enough for us. You can walk to downtown Velden, including the casino.

The bed was so uncomfortable. I could not sleep. The pool is unusable because it is so cold. An indoor pool that is not heated? Useless. Enough people have complained about this. You would think the owners would do something about it. The breakfast is completely overpriced for what you get and the price for the breakfast online when you use the QR code in the room is lower than what they actually charge.

Super friendly hotel staff. We got upgraded to the bungalow, very spacious and nice. Breakfast was good, hotel staff even kept it longer open just for us. The swim area to the lake is directly connected to the hotel, it is a bit small though, but nothing unusual for this area of the lake. Velden Center is walking distance and there is enough space in the car parking at all times.

Amazing place. Many boats and pedal catamarans are for free at the private beach. The family room we ordered was very large with great sea view. The kitchen was equiped with everything needed to prepare a meal. Refrigirator, microwave, oven, gas and dishwasher. There is also a sauna with indoor small pool.

There was no dish washing soap and materials except the dishwasher, what can be cumbersome for a few items. The wifi was OK but sometimes needed to switch to cellular internet.

ON THE LAKE IT CAN'T BE BETTER. Exceptional kindness of the owner and staff. Although I reserved only one apartment without my special request, they gave me two for the same price, one next to the other with a view of the lake. That has never happened to me anywhere. The facility is perfectly organized, although the reception is only open until the afternoon. You can get all information by phone, and most services by pressing a button.

Maybe the pool water could be warmer. It is of course a matter of habit because it cannot be said that the water was cold.

Great location at the lake, we liked the walk to Velden pier passing casino and restaurants. We liked to walk down to the sauna in the same building. Morning view at the lake from small balcony was very nice.. The staff was very friendly. There is a small indoor kids play room and outside a play ground. We were provided a crib.

We found the indoor swimming pool rather cold. We would have needed the info how much time one needs to preheat the sauna (min. 40min) that one can use 24h a day (which is great). Once it is warm it is excellent! Our apartment was quite chilly at night, during the day alright.

Friendly, available, helpful staff. Quiet room, and our spacious mini-apartment had a stunning view of the lake. Excellent, private sauna area, which could handle perhaps 6 to 8 people at a time. The infra-red cabin fit 2, and was very much to my liking. The pool was quite small, great for jumping in after the sauna, or for doing a short swim-around, but otherwise, not for fitness / laps.

Although my bed was of excellent quality -- quality lattenrost, quality cold-foam mattress -- I experienced a lot of back problems from it. It seemed quite firm, so I cannot say what the problem was. The Sauna area did not offer disposable (or otherwise) cups for use with the drinking water faucet. The staff accommodated us ad hoc, but it is a bit odd. The internet claimed to keep you logged in for an entire year, but in fact, logged us out every 15 minutes or so. It was a bit frustrating to use until I discovered an obscure work-around.
