The hotel was out of my budget but I decided to treat myself and it was a treat. The concierge are excellent, I had been in communication with them before I arrived and they were helpful. The bell desk helped me easily get around. Everyone was friendly and helpful. My room was fabulous, on the 33rd floor. Quiet (as I had hoped) and very comfortable. I need to find out what those pillows are! The location is central enough with everything I need nearby or on the property - delicious coffee, Sephora across the street, subway, taxis, etc.

There was only one complaint. I had ordered a rollaway bed at 5pm before going out. When we returned after 11pm it had still not arrived. However, once I called reception and re-ordered the service was prompt. tough it was't until after 12.30 am that it was sorted out and we could get ready to sleep.

The highlights of the Lotte NY Palace are 2 main things: location and size of rooms. 1) The location can't be beat bc it's right behind St. Patrick's Cathedral on a quiet street in midtown but so central to all the best tourist sights in NY including 5th avenue shopping, 42nd street and Broadway shows, and Central Park. What you can't walk to is an easy subway ride away. 2) The size of rooms is huge for NY standards. Our king room was 360 sf and had a good sized closet and bathroom. We had a beautiful view of St. Patrick's Cathedral. Also the rooms were renovated in the last 5 years so the furnishings are brighter. The staff were all exceptionally friendly and accommodated our requests for a refrigerator, which I noted after reading other reviews. We also got a late check out bc of a delayed flight. Highly recommend to first time visitors who want a luxe experience in the center of Manhattan!

The bathrooms are a bit dated but clean and sizable. Otherwise, nothing notable.

Beautiful, elegant hotel near Rockefeller Center. Lovely views of Saint Patrick’s Cathedral. Room was well appointed and very comfortable. Staff were very friendly and went out of their way to accommodate our needs when family came to visit. The lounge is the best place to enjoy a quiet drink from Troubles Trust, which can get noisy. Bed was comfortable and room was spacious. Lobby and bars are lovely-check out the Gold Room!

The room was beautiful with an amazing skyline view overlooking Saint Patrick's Cathedral. We had 2 double beds which were both very comfy. The bathroom was a good size with a bath tub with lovely powerful shower over it. The location was just perfect!

We were disappointed that there were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room. There was also no fridge. On arrival, after a long flight, my husband went to the bar to get a bottle of wine for us and a coke for my son - this cost $111 which we thought was pretty steep!! On subsequent evenings, the queue for the bar was so long it was ridiculous.

Not really family friendly. Bar not very relaxing for a drink. Got bumped off a table for a group of business men which was not warranted. Asked to check out at midday as opposed to 11am and was declined. When I went to pay my bill, additional room charges for drinks and internet which we did not use so I had to navigate that.

The Studio Suite with the cathedral view was EXCEPTIONAL! Waking up to a breathtaking view of the towers of St. Patrick's Cathedral, Radio City Music Hall's iconic neon signage down the road, and the city skyline was a luxury we enjoyed every morning. And when our children went to bed, being able to watch our same view transform by night was a priceless perk we did not take for granted, and thus sat for a few minutes just staring out before we turned down.

I think a perfect addition to make the room perfect... given the price of the room, the legacy and prestige attached to this hotel and the overall tier of the room... my wife and I both felt a Nespresso machine would be an easy investment for these rooms to completely offer that wonderful touch of being able to brew a shot of coffee while enjoying that view. Complimentary water was welcome, and the mini-bar was there, but complimentary Nespresso is already something most hotels already offer with their rooms. The Palace could benefit a great deal by following suit.

The lobby and courtyard and view of St. Patrick’s were exceptional. Staff was really friendly and helpful. It was really quiet and easy to sleep, relax there. The fitness room was very clean and well equipped.

I don’t know how thorough room cleaning is because there was a box of Ozempic from a previous guest in our minibar as well as a small suitcase lock just under our bed skirt. Also my elderly mother suggested there be a bath mat or something like it to avoid slipping in tub. The bathroom rug was too big and got caught in door repeatedly.

The location was excellent, central to everything, walking distance to theaters, Central park, and major landmarks. Very accessible with public transportation too. We were very impressed with the attention from the reception upon arrival. Michael, at the reception did his best to find a corner room with an excellent view of St. Patrick's cathedral and the city line. The concierge was very helpful too. Lastly, not to be missed, the guided tour of the Villard houses full of history of the hotel and the gilded age of New York city.

We didn't enjoy the breakfast. The quality was poor and tasteless. We were expecting better quality and better service for the value spent.

Great view over the cathederal. Great spot near lots of lovely restaurants and spots. The gym is AMAZING if you like a good fitness centre. The hotel, bar and restaurants as well as gyms were amazing and newly renovated. The gold room is beautiful and everything is lovely about the hotel.

The room was okay, bed was very comfortable but the decor was a bit dated for us, the bathrooms were really underwhelming, I expect better bathrooms for the price I paid. It is all clean but just old and a bit dated with the shower curtain in the bath etc compared to the rest of the hotel. Also, we were spending lots of money on champagne yet then were charged for an extra bowl of nuts/snacks, a 5 star hotel at this price should give snacks for free in their hotel bar.
