The hospitality of the hosts was unbeatable. Best bed, bedding and night's sleep of this entire Camino ... from France! Absolutely no noise. The host is a terrific baker; her homemade dessert cake and brioche toasted for breakfast were wonderful. Looks a little rustic from the outside but once you enter the courtyard it is a visual delight. So are the rooms. Would stay there again. Highly recommend it. Great value!

That many people will judge it from the outside - which is plain - and not look inside at all of the beautiful attention that has been given to the all-important living areas.

Beautiful albergue, kind hosts, delicious food and comfortable yard (lilacs were in bloom!😍). Loved having 2 bottom bunks, sheets for the beds and our own bathroom as well! Definitely recommend!!

The water is not potable and I only realized after I drank some and saw the sign on the wall later( which led me to have diarrhea for a week). It would be important to warn guests of this WHEN THEY ARRIVE so as to avoid any problems.

Friendly, helpful, super clean, everything worked well. All requests were accommodated. After a snowy wet day on the Camino (crazy to be doing it in winter aside) the host and staff were so kind. Three course dinner, breakfast, ability to do laundry and dry things that had gotten wet in my pack. Happily paid the bill for all the services rendered and left a large gratuity for the staff to acknowledge they went above and beyond. This place will be gorgeous in spring when the flowers and leave are popping … but even now in winter was immediately kept clean from pilgrim muddy boots, poles, rain capes etc.

Happy to have stoped here, if you had a “bad Camino day” and feel a bit tired, Ilaria will definitely boost your mood, she brights the day! Her family is also super nice and so are the 2 dogs! Stay here you won’t regret it. They don’t have kitchen but Ilaria let me use the fridge to store some milk.

Shoe rack where we were asked to place our boots on arrival was swamped with rainwater that soaked our boots.

Very comfortable beds in the private room and the food was delicious too. I would stay here again. I liked the garden to sit and relax.

Very nice !!! No problems at all. Kiko (manager) was helpful since our arrival at the hostal. Helped us to find a hostal in foncebadon… with our bags, with breakfast in the next stage os Camino. (St Catalina) 10!

Great food, the hosts are super helpful and caring, I recommend you stop here, water very hot which is not easy to find in albergues, great place.

Absolutely wonderful staff. The food was delicious and we enjoyed our stay. Would recommend to anyone walking the Camino.
