The friendliest owners/host that are funny and engaging in conversation. They give recommendations on where to go and what to see because they are Pilgrims themselves. I find Albergues ran by people who have walked pay more attention to detail and just have a special touch. The meals are fresh and delicious and are true to Spain but a mix up from what’s usually served. Rooms and bathrooms are clean and comfortable. The whole property is welcoming, cozy and just feels homey. The central courtyard feels like it transports you into another world and you forget there’s a village outside. The hammocks in the back were a great place to have a siesta. I would revisit this Albergue over and over again. You’d want to stay here every time you walk the French route because they are the type of folks you’d want to catch up with.

There isn’t room to tell how fantastic this place is. Before I even checked in, I was offered a hot tea as it was a bit cloudy and chilly that day. It’s super clean, the beds are comfortable with cozy blankets, and the owner even did our laundry for us. We had a great dinner with a huge salad and pasta carbonara (no fried mystery meat and potatoes here!). There are hammocks, a beautiful outdoor sitting area and cold beers for good weather days. Breakfast was also wonderful with homemade yogurt, fresh strawberries, eggs and more! They offer massage and yoga too if you are so inclined. This place really pampers perigrinos!

This place is a true Albergue experience. The owners care 100% for their pilgrims. They work really hard to ensure 100% care and attention. They offer so much value for what is paid to them.

You need to take an alternate Francis Way route to stay here. If you prefer creature comforts, this might not be for you. It is worth sampling as the hosts are brilliant.

Everything was wonderful. The hostess was very sweet and though she is just renting the albergue I hope she continues next season for camino peregrinos

A calm and inviting atmosphere with a nice garden area to relax and have a glass of wine or beer or soda. Excellent dinner with great vegetarian option🤙🏽

A warm welcome in a beautiful setting. This property is on the pilgrim trail, so excellent to share and hear pilgrim stories, perfect facilities for walkers. We were not on the walk, and it was excellent for us too. Lovely breakfast and beautiful garden. Rooms clean, hot showers, comfortable beds, access to kettle.

An absolutely beautiful hostel that is incredibly well kept. Marionette is an amazing hospitalero. The communal dinner was delicious and she was able to work with my food allergies. The facility was very clean and had everything a Pilgrim would need. There was even a hair dryer!

Hosts made us feel so welcome. Room bright and spotless linen fresh. Really good food with a choice of three wines. Breakfast looked really good. Would highly recommend..

The host was exceptional. Very kind with a wonderful meal. Unfortunately this is her last year on the Camino. The hostel is in a town. That’s a little off the Camino and she doesn’t get much business. It was lovely.

Close didn’t get dry in wet weather

Excellent albergue with hospitalario doing all that she could to welcome and make my stay as comfortable as possible. Really good dinner and breakfast.

Doors a bit noisy when people got up in the night / early in the morning.

I cannot give enough praise to this ALBERGUE. Comfortable rooms. Clean and high Quality bathrooms. Great outdoor area. The two owners were so accomodating. The pilgrim dinner was one of the best I've had. The little details made it so special.
