The hotel was modern and clean. It was within easy walking distance to explore Ponferrada. There was secure free parking for our motorbikes directly under the hotel (I believe that the main hotel car park for cars is the other side of the main street.). Breakfast was good. The hotel reception staff were very friendly and helpful.

Whilst we really appreciated the free secure motorcycle parking. I wanted to point out to other people who may use it that the access ramp is very steep. When coming up the ramp, you are directly onto a pavement on the junction for the roundabout.

Very central location, good sized rooms,good wi FI, parking nearby. Very clean and close to bars, restaurants and cafes. English speaking staff. Check in was excellent thanks to Ricardo (I think that’s his name) he could not have been more helpful, as was the receptionist during day on Saturday & Sunday.

Checkout, gentleman who checked us out, ignored me for several minutes and checked me out while continuing his conversation with no thank you for our custom over a 3 night stay, disappointing given the great service from previous 2 people on reception.

Having stayed numerous times before I was aware of the hotel and didn't hesitate to stay once more. It's only a short walk to the main square and old town and close to the motorways.

The underground parking is a little challenging to get in an out on a motorcycle! It's only a short 15min walk into the city, but if you have mobility problems it might be an issue...

We received an upgrade to a suite and the extra space was much appreciated. The room and bathroom were immaculate and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

The location meant that we had a 15 minute walk into the main town for good dining options as it was quite limited in the immediate area.

We have been staying in many hotels while travelling around but this hotel is by far the best! The breakfast was superb and the beds and pillows were so very comfortable!

I would like a proper cup to have a cup of tea or coffee in my room rather than a tiny paper cup. I did, however, appreciate tea and coffee equipment in the room as so many hotels do not provide this in Spain.

Marriott does it right. Very comfortable travelers hotel. Polite and helpful staff, rooms quiet, and comfortable, excellent breakfast, decent Wi-Fi

It’s just a ways off the Camino, but generally, it was a wonderful stay, especially when compared to some of the places we’ve experienced

Location is excellent for visiting the town, breakfast was varied and plentiful. Parking our motorcycles in the secure garage is an added bonus.

Nothing was a problem at this hotel, its excellent.

The staff are so helpful, that we will ride the Camino, the staff help to put our bikes in the conference room for three days. They are so nice and most friendly staff I ever met in our Spain trip. gracias!

Helpful staff, child friendly place, pleasantly surprised with nice little gift (coloring set) for our daughter. Room was nice and comfortable too.

Very strong aircon. We were able to turn it off in the room, but were freezing during breakfast. Some people like strong aircon, but for others my suggestion is to bring a sweater or something to layer in case it gets too cold

A little disappointing there was no restaurant or bar during our stay if we had known we would have stayed elsewhere.
