It was a beautiful retreat. Gardens, birds everywhere. Of the 52 lodgings we stayed in along the Camino Frances, this was by far the most unique and fun. Watching the birds take turns eating leftovers at the table next to us while we enjoyed an afternoon drink and tapas was so much fun. Dinner was great. Easter lamb, salad. Oh and the cherries grown on site!

This is a lovely hotel or pension with a really wonderful gift shop emphasizing local crafts and products. When we had to wait a few minutes to check in, we were offered a small glass of locally produced wind to sample. The room was comfortable and very clean with great bathroom facilities. We didn't eat a the restaurant because we has other plans, but it looked good.

The hotel was great in all aspects. Top location, direct on the Camino Frances. Friendly staff. Nice restaurant/terras outside, but in the shade among the flowers and plants, The menu card showing excellent local dishes and wines. Also an pleasant indoor restaurant with bar selling cold beers and biological ice creams. Comfortable room with cool climate control. Large bathroom.

The check-in procedure was a bit long. Took to much time.

This was my second time staying here. It's right on the Camino in an historic building (former pilgrim hospital). The staff welcomed us with a glass of wine. I love the warm goat cheese they serve and had that for lunch. Rooms are a delightful step back in time--all that you need and want with an ambiance that can't be beat.

Everything was wonderful -- food, room, welcome, and location.

Charming, comfortable and unique hotel experience. The room was on the top floor under the roof of the historic building with lovely antique furnishings, a large bathroom with two person jacuzzi and a cozy sitting area. The hotel itself is a beautiful old stone and wood building that was once a pilgrim hospital. The on site restaurant was delicious and the small store selling local wines, gift items and local crafts was delightful.

This place was beautiful. The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom had the best, biggest tub I've seen since traveling. I ate at the restaurant and the food was phenomenal. This was a last-minute decision and definitely the right one. Hope I get the chance to go back.

The property was beautiful, very fancy, high end, & great food.

As a pilgrim on the Camino the location was not the best being at the very beginning of the village so a continued long walk to reach a supermarket or bank ATM. The property did not have a pilgrim vibe but more of an event center.

A large hotel that still provides a personal touch. Staff were friendly and helpful, especially as I wasn’t feeling well. Great breakfast and lunch, did not eat dinner. Room was large, quiet and had a fantastic bath tub.

The facility was beautifully restored! It was a gem! Really nice gift store. The restaurant was excellent-food was delicious! Breakfast was very good as well! Top notched business!

When ordering dinner, the waiter told us we were ordering too much food! As an American-this has never happened! He then waited while we scaled down our order and he was content. It felt like he was taking care of us but on the other hand-how did he know how much we could eat? We did not leave hungry-just laughed at the situation!

Exceptional place. Very hard to fault. Lovely restaurant and bar. Had one of my best meals here. Definitely would recommend this place

On checking in I paid extra for breakfast which the lady said was at 8am. At 8am nothing was open. I waited 15 mins and then had to leave as walking the camino. Bit disappointing
