The owners were very enthusiastic and interested in ensuring we had a top quality visit to their property and we appreciated their kindness and thoughtful ness. My room had a tremendous view of the mountain scenery and was exceptionally comfortable with a great mattress and bed linen. There was plenty of hot water and the toiletries were very good quality. Breakfast up at the cafe included top quality organic coffee, fresh orange juice and great, homemade bread.

Very kind hosts who went out of their way to be helpful. I had a cozy room with a lovely view. The bed was comfortable and I slept well. There's also a nice little garden area. The hosts mentioned that they have just taken over so I'm sure they have improvements planned.

The interior is a bit dated, and I do think the price is a little high for what is offered. Still, the thoughtfulness of the lovely hosts is what I'll remember most.

Great people, warm & welcoming :). Lots of wonderful little touches, tea and coffee, fab breakfast, little pond in front garden with resident frog, wonderful views of the mountains. Picturesque little village - restaurant round the corner & a few bars. Free use of swimming pool at the end of the village. Overall, a welcome, quality respite after a hot day on the Camino.

Clean, beautiful view, comfortable bed, delicious breakfast

Could use a window covering in the bathroom for privacy. Odd misunderstanding about breakfast time in which 3 guests believed they heard one time stated and the hosts were certain that a different time was stated; maybe it should be put in writing somewhere. These are minor complaints. We enjoyed our stay a lot.

Location, comfy bed, interesting decor and styling.

Room small, no tv, no food available, tho limited breakfast provided, no staff on site, no washing or other facilities, just bedrooms. Bit pricey.

what a nice surprise, what a hidden gem! It´s a dream place for rest and enjoying real nature, in the most beautiful, remote village I have ever seen, in the middle of a breathtaking landscape. It´s a feng-shui house with great vibes and David and Susan are excellent hosts

couldn´t have been any better

Fri. The time I arrives to the time I departed, felt very comfortable. It felt that I was in someone home. Check in was smooth and the hostess made suggestion for dinner which I was thankful for. In the morning, breakfast was a treat. Very simple but filling. Definitely stay here again.

A charming room with everything needed for a comfortable overnight while walking the Camino. The host was very welcoming and sincerely kind. When my husband was having difficulty with his blood sugar, (we were out of snacks and no shops in town) the host gave us several pieces of fruit. A lifesaver! And the next day at 6:00am there was coffee, tea and "the best breakfast I've had on the Camino" (according to the other Peregrino we shared the meal with. We also thought it was wonderful!). On our fifth day of walking, we lucked into this gem in El Acebo de San Miguel. I could happily have stayed longer.

Incredible location & staff! I felt like I was at home in this amazing town/home.

I forgot my towel there which was of course my fault. I called and asked the owner to please send it to my final location and that I would of course pay for the inconvenience. He informed me he would send it and that he would contact me once he had. Unfortunately he never got back to me & it never arrived.
