The Way Hotel Molinaseca is an excellent hotel to get a good rest. Our room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and we could hear the gentle murmur of the river through our open window at night. The room was compact, but perfect for our needs. The shower was outstanding-plenty of room to use without bumping the walls and it had good water pressure. If you are walking the Camino, this is the perfect place to stay after coming down the steep, rugged trail from Cruz de Ferro. I would stay here again.

The light in the private bathroom uses a motion sensor which can not be turned off. So using the bathroom in the middle of the night was a bright experience.

The cost-effectiveness is excellent. The hotel has only three rooms, which effectively avoids the noise caused by too many people. All the check-in details were sent via Booking, so there’s no need to worry about any issues with checking in. Unlike many other hotels where you have to contact them directly, this saves a lot of unnecessary hassle. The owner is very friendly, and even though it was late, they patiently answered all our questions. The room is an attic, which is cool at night, and the bed is very comfortable. During the peak tourist season in August, it’s very rare to find a hotel with such good facilities for only 70 euros.

The location is far from the city, requiring a long drive that involves navigating through mountain roads.

The location is superb, right by the river which has a beautiful bridge and a designated swimming area. There was a bowl to soak my hot feet and a fan. The check in was quick and helpful information about where to eat and location of the shop was given. Plenty of places to eat nearby and the carpark is not very far away either. Would definitely go back

The beds were a bit saggy but for the price cannot really complain.

The person who greeted me, and did everything else, was exceptional. He found a room for someone who was walking with me, and he made me dinner and breakfast.

I didn't like the bathroom light going on by motion sensor, and not being able to turn it off. I go to the bathroom often and I use the light on my watch to navigate, so the full light on every time was uncomfortable.

Did not meet any staff. No guidance or instructions provided as to how to register or checkin or to know which room we had reserved.

Lovely friendly hosts who took care of us, met us at check in, cooked a tasty full Irish breakfast, and gave plenty of good tips for the local areas. Would definitely stay again.

The walls between rooms were very thin and unfortunately we had noisy neighbours.

Location. Facilities were new and decor cute.

We were offered wine at arrival and told they could provide us a meal. Dinner and wine were quite poor, unfortunately. Dinner main courses were microwaved meals, wine was substandard for such a great wine-growing region. Breakfast was excellent-cooked to order.

The hosts were absolutely fantastic- we booked a room last minute due to an injury while walking the Camino route, and check in instructions were left for us which was excellent. In the morning we were offered breakfast which was very reasonably priced and delicious. Really enjoyed chatting to the hosts. The place is in a lovely town right next to the river and nice restaurants.

The hosts were so kind and we felt loved on our Camino. They have a gift for hospitality and after a hard day’s walk it is the perfect location by the river. You can even soak your feet in the river. Comfortable, quiet and a great hot shower. They will wash and dry your laundry for a reasonable fee. Heaven! Just what we needed!

It was very clean and quite. The host were very friendly and helpful. The hosts will do laundry at a very fair price. I would recommend staying here. The location is close to the bridge and the river. Molina Seco is a good stop on the camino. The town is very nice, clean and picturesque.
