The rooms are basic, breakfast was good, but the staff was exceptionally helpful: We were there 1st of June when there was a flood in the village and water ran into the hotel. The staff so dedicated helping the guests and apologizing for the flood than they were concerned about the damage the flood would do to the hotel. I was very impressed!

Only thing I didn't like was that there was a flood during our stay, and we only had minutes to get away before we would have been stuck there. Of course this is something which wasn't the hotel's fault!

We were running a bit late on our check-ing day of Friday evening. Receptionist was very kind to wait for us till 21:00! We had a big family room with a private toilet/shower room. Everything was just as on photos! Breakfast is great! Despite it's a relatively small hotel, it offers a large variety of meals: from hot omelet/sausages to cereals, snacks etc. There is pretty big playground for children under a roof, which makes it perfect even if it's raining outside. Kids loved it! And finally, there is an opened parking place just across the street. Regardless of your auto: small car or family mini-van - you'll find a place to park! Location is also good. Only ~10 mins walking to the central street, which is full of restraints, cafeterias and shops. It's about 10 mins of driving to Legoland. Highly recommending this hotel.

The beds were so comfortable, and the accommodations were neat and clean. The hotel staff were all lovely and helpful. The German continental breakfast was something we looked forward to each morning and exceeded all expectations. The kids' play area on the covered patio was my 6-year-old daughter’s highlight as well as the convenience of how close Hotel Römer is to Legoland Deutschland. If you're traveling with children to Legoland, 10/10 recommend.

No complaints!

Breakfast was outstanding. Staff were very friendly. Despite the hotel being on a busy road our room remained quiet. The outdoor temps were 32+ Celsius, but the room remained fairly comfortable. The bathroom was small, but manageable. The room overall was small, so slightly cramped for the three of us. Our main objective was LEGOLAND, so we were looking for a clean and comfortable hotel...accomplished. Lots of free parking provided. Walking distance to the downtown area for shopping and restaurants. I would choose this hotel again. A little play area for the children located inside the entrance.

As mentioned, the hotel is located on a very busy street so dragging in your luggage can be a bit tricky, waiting to cross the road from the parking area sometimes took a while. Maybe someday there will be a crosswalk located close to the hotel which would help. A small fridge in the room would be nice as well.

The room was spacious and location was great! 10-12 minute walk from the train station which made it very easy to get to/from Legoland! Walking distance to many restaurants and cafes as well. Breakfast was also excellent and the staff were very friendly! There’s even a little kids play area out front. Highly recommend:)

Excellent accommodation, we stayed in the annex opposite the hotel and it was very good value for money, cheaper than a room in the hotel. Very friendly helpful staff, English spoken, excellent breakfast with so much choice, free car park opposite the hotel, plenty of restaurants in the town less than 10 minute walk, I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Cristina at reception was particularly helpful. Excellent service. 8/10 given as we were not able to stay as we missed the checkin time of 8pm. An oversight on my end. Unfortunately due to a hotel system change we were not able to get in contact with the staff, however, Cristina kindly refunded us our money in the morning.

Friendly staff, comfortable room for rest (small but clean, soft pillows, huge TV set). We enjoyed our stay greatly. Breakfast was fantastic. Exceptional treatment of the kids! Chill out terrace with plenty of toys for the kids.

A bit far away from the city center. Just on a road, thus a bit noisy at night.

Traffic noise from the street was a bit unpleasant, but that's not the hotel's fault. Its location is as it is.

I like the cleanliness, it was perfect even in the tricky parts of the room. High quality of the room equipment. Super nice staff. Comfortable terrace with children's playground.

The street is busy and noisy. Very inconvenient when the street facing windows are open.
