I recently stayed at Bamboosa and it was an amazing experience! The place was cozy, clean and well-maintained. The room wasn't wide but has comfortable bed and all the necessary amenities. Additionally, the location was ideal—close to local attractions and surrounded by beautiful scenery. I highly recommend Bamboosa Guest House to anyone looking for a peaceful and memorable stay. I’m definitely planning to come back in the future!

A slightly dirty wardrobe

The staffs were helpful, kind, polite. We reached quite late on the day of our check in but the guy who attended to us was helpful & kind. Fried rice was for breakfast. It was simple but nice. On the day of our check out, we had to check out before 6 am. The staff who attended to us was helpful. The cold air is nice. The water dispenser is in the common area inside the guest house.

The bathroom ceiling has mold & it has a musty odor. One of our rooms is carpeted but we don't feel clean about it.

For the price, was a really good place to stay. Relatively quiet location but close to town centre, very homely look and atmosphere. Great views. Included breakfast was nice. Friendly and helpful staff and owners. Arranged scooter rental at front desk at a good price.

For the price, our standard twin room was fine. Note however that all furniture and fittings were very old and worn out.

The staff is really friendly! Close proximity to restaurants on foot. Cheap price for stay and good breakfast.

The rooms were basic & not the cosiest for a longer stay - the light in our room came only through the glass in the bathroom - so no fresh air in the room. The smell was a bit stuffy too. But is ok for a short stay to explore the town.

Within walking distance to the town, cafes, restaurants & shops. Rooms were cosy & clean. Breakfast was tasty & quick. Connected to other Bamboosa properties. Staff were helpful & friendly. They kept our bags overnight whilst we visited Harau Valley, they gave us a number to hire a motorbike too.

The house and garden and relaxing areas are very nice. From the terrace you have a view on the volcanoes, so cool. The included breakfast is very good. Free water refills, tea, coffee. The room is good with private bathroom. Rico helped me also to rent a motorbike to go on a 3 day trip and booked a bus for me. I felt very comfortable, also as a female solo traveller.

Good accomodation, The place was cozy, clean, and well-maintained. The hosts were helpful and kind. The location was ideal, and i can walk around to the city center. In the morning you will get a delicious breakfast and while sitting you can enjoy the beautiful scenery like in a village.

The staff were super friendly and helpful, breakfast was yum (a little on the small side though). My room and the common areas were clean. The location is great too, short walk to laundry, good warungs and the middle of town.

The beds were a bit hard for my taste. Its also v close to a mosque so be prepared for an early wake up call, I think you’ll probably have this anywhere in Bukittingi though, it’s all part of it. There was a large family staying while I was there, with lots of kids playing in the pool so it wasn’t really peace and quite but that’s ok :)

Comfortable bed, clean bathroom & friendly staff.

1) food (breakfast) was a bit salty. 2) no iron provided in the room. Need to request at the lobby. 3) hair dryer was also not provided. 4) poor ventilation. Fan should be provided in the living room.

I loved room #6 with a balcony leading to bathroom. Very comfortable with everything I needed. Very friendly staff, hot water, clean, great price, quiet street but walkable to town, help with renting motorbike. Nice vibes good stay
