Beautiful house with awesome living room fin de siècle style, beautiful garden with statues. Rooms old style, pretty.

Careful, this is an old house. The bell to the reception desk didn't work, but they indicate a telephone number to reach the receptionist. The room was cold, the heating did not respond. My shower in the morning was cold although I let the water run for a while, too long for what an ecological mind would find correct. It got warm enough (although not really hot) after I had finished my shower. Didn't dare wash my hair. The receptionist said, this was an old house, no way to renovate the pipes, they would have to tear the whole house down. Well, but it wants to be a French high level fancy hotel. An experience. A certain standard. You know. I don't know what to say..., except: Yes, French indeed.

A beautiful last minute booking. The hotel exceeded our expectations both in comfort and friendly staff. Lovely garden and on site free parking. The hotel is filled with gorgeous artworks, furnishings and eclectic items. So refreshing to stay in a hotel with personality and not furnished from an ikea catalogue. Bed was so comfortable, good size room and bathroom. Great selection for breakfast; bread was warm and the nicest I have ever tasted. All served in a gorgeous dining room. Impossible to fault, we absolutely loved this hotel, ticked all the boxes for us.

We stayed here in early September as part of a self-guided biking holiday with a group of friends. This is an exceptional & sophisticated accommodation in an elegant old home with history and grace. The staff were excellent. The home itself was stunning, and the dining room was regal & so beautiful. Breakfast was exceptional. The three course dinner was sensational, staff were attentive & service was excellent. The grounds are beautiful, serene and inviting. There is ample space & outdoor seating areas to enjoy the outside, including having coffee or tea or aperitifs. Our room was elegant, and we had the bonus of a terrace overlooking the grounds. Overall, this was an amazing place to stay at and beyond what one would expect. The ambiance of this gorgeous place and staff cannot be captured by just describing it! You have to stay here to understand its elegance.

I liked everything

Beautiful hotel. My family loved swimming in the heated pool and had the pool to ourselves. We enjoyed our elegant, traditional rooms. We rented 2 superior rooms, one had a large balcony with a sitting room that was really deluxe and peaceful. Our children enjoyed the place very much, too. We all enjoyed the wonderful art and park-like setting. It is a quiet place, close to Parc Wesserling, which is fun and educational for kids. Breakfast was wonderful and deluxe.

Lack of kettle!

Beautiful old house maintained with such excellent taste. The room was beautiful, the bathroom big with a bathtub and we had a big private balcony overlooking the garden. We are twice dinner in the hotel restaurant, both times very good meals
