A nice hotel with extensive grounds in a beautiful environment. The room was comfortable and clean with a bathroom complete with a couple of handy packs of items you may have forgotten. Set against the backdrop of the Sierra de Gredos mountains, it's a lovely place to stay for a break. Particularly if you are an outdoors type person. There are many available activities that can be booked or of course, just do your own thing.

If you happen to have loud neighbours, you may well hear them through the walls or open windows. In fairness it went pretty much silent after midnight however.

Nice people and warm welcome. The lodge is nicely located outside town in the foothills, in a very relaxing place. Being off season, it was even more relaxing. Parking is easy. Breakfast is enough and quite good.

The restaurant is overpriced compared to most places in the area and one dish arrived cold (most likely a frozen bacalau). It was a bit disapointed because the personel was very gentle.

The place is beautiful and very well maintained. The garden and the surroundings are just magical. The staff members are extremely friendly and helpful.

Just be minded that if you’re not with a car, a steep walk will be required. But this is also what makes it so special

However, the decor of the rooms and common spaces is outdated and inconsistent, and our room was close to a dining area and the pool and people's noise kept us up until late hours in the evening.

Very nice quiet place. Good beds. Very clean. Nice and warm. Good rooms and very nice bathroom. Very light in the night and easy to find in the dark.

A noisy and inconsiderate party were there for 2days.But we wouldn't blame management.

No improvements suggested Idyllic as it is. Staff were sooooo helpful especially Alba (?) who checked us in and was our restaurant hostess at night.

Had to get up to 2 up on a fully loaded motorcycle. Apart from that it was perfect.

Great location for visiting the surrounding area and swim in the natural pools. Very quiet location and really feels like you are in the middle of nowhere, although you are fairly close to the main town of the area. The food on offer is great and reasonably priced, and the breakfast was delicious whilst simple. The surrounding garden is where dinner is served under the starry sky - priceless.

An unexpected gem. Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Beautiful grounds. Great food. Authentic 70's feel to rooms. We were only passing through but hope to return.
