Staff is always welcoming and lovely! They are giving the place a new, fresh look and it’s looking great! We look forward to seeing the final result. The location is excellent and in a very peaceful area. We always enjoy staying at Bad Boekelo!

Would not recommend the breakfast unless you’re looking for something close and convenient. The breakfast is quite expensive for what you get, quality is low, and the coffee was not very good. There are a few other places nearby where you can get a way better breakfast for less.

Pretty ordinary hotel just far from a lot of stuff. You definitely need a car unless you wanna walk 30 minutes to a bus, but the nature is very beautiful. The views are nice. They have bowling, swimming pool swimming pool is free

I’ll be honest, the first staff I met when I arrived at the hotel he was cold and emotionless and with an attitude so I guess don’t come very much in the middle of the night😅 because it was impossible to see even with a car

We did not have breakfast and rather we prepared out own Room was good I suppose the only downsize is having to sleep in two single beds, the room had only one fan which was insufficient, there was no Iron in the room. We did not use the pool We wanted to use the SPA facility however we did not as it was either closed or maybe we went down the wrong times

The distance from the hotel to the University of Twente was quite a distance Room cleaning was not available and therefore we did our own cleaning There was no iron in the room and we had to go out to the laundry room to iron We had to pay additional for bedding and sheeting and therefore, we washed the sheets on our own

The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The kids thoroughly enjoyed the pool and bowling facilities.

The rooms don’t have refrigerators, and the parking space is very dark at night. Additionally, the vending machine doesn’t accept credit cards.

Fantastic service. We were given an upgrade from a room to a superbly equipped self catering apartment. The sauna and spa complex was great, although a little on the small size. The swimming pool was a decent size.

The tiling around the pool was a bit grubby

Resort Bad Boekelo is our new favourite holiday destination. A place where one can truly relax and recharge. Comfortable room with all necessary facilities and direct access to nature. Spacious and warm bathroom. Extremely comfy beds. And drinking your morning coffee whilst listening to the birds' songs and breathing clean forest air - priceless. Outstanding restaurant - I had my best cheeseburger ever. Especially if you combine it with a Grolsch Weizen!

The peace and quiet, rooms were spacious with an extra bathroom. Nice pool and games room. Free WiFi and parking

Sharing a hotel with immigrants. Expensive meal choices. Found two socks under separate beds.

Very calm and clean hotel with very polite and hospitable staff. Excellent breakfast and restaurant for dinner. Free coffee and tea in the room. Free parking. The room balcony gives you direct access to the green area and forest around the hotel. We also liked the bowling lane very much! In case you wish to explore this (often underestimated) part of the Netherlands, Resort Bad Boekelo is an excellent starting point. We'll definitely come back. Next time we'll hire bikes as well, there seem to be great biking/hiking trails in the area.

The fixed shower head in the bathroom is a bit outdated (not a dealbreaker though).

The hotel is outside the big city in a wooded area. Very nice apartment with a fully functional kitchen. Great for travels with a Car that wants to stay for a few days.

Loved the property disliked the extra charges for towels and stripping of beds as I thought it was a resort hotel experience lol but it wouldn't put me off staying again
