Beautiful rooms and gardens. Food was devine the best by way meal I have had dining out. The hosts are kindest people I know. They delivered a delicious meal the following evening to my next stop as they knew nothing was open to get dinner. Very much appreciated after 31k walk.

The owners were super accommodating, cooked us a lovely breakfast and we felt very welcome - they clearly are very proud of their space and so they should be. Lots of little details made this motel stand out and we were not disappointed!

Rustic location. Good sized room. The room was basic but all amenities worked well. The hotel restaurant served nice food at reasonable prices. Served as a nice stopover slightly out of town and off the beaten road.

The innkeeper had difficulty finding my booking but things worked out in the end.

Very friendly and relaxed owners, we were invited to go to our room and get ready for dinner without any fuss checking in. The rooms are nicely decorated, beds very comfortable with new bathrooms, with delightful home made lavender bodywash. The dinner was excellent, easily one of the best we have had in a couple of years. The garden setting is very nice and the charm of the original accommodation is not lost. We will definitely stay again.

The Lodge was spotlessly clean, very warm and comfortable and very well appointed. We could not have asked for more obliging and friendly hosts and the breakfast was stunning and fab value! Thank you

Probably my fault for not reading properly but we would have preferred to be within walking distance of the township. We also thought we'd be by the Lake, but it's not. But the gardens were very pretty and well manicured

Great location just off the bike trail. Lovely garden setting, clean comfortable rooms. We enjoyed a delicious dinner- the steaks were exceptional.

Dinner was amazing and the room was very comfortable and quiet. I had an early start the next day so it was exactly what I needed.

Very comfortable ….I especially liked that you could have dinner after a day of travelling. It also had a lovely garden to look out on

We had a lovely stay here while cycling the trails. The grounds are large and peaceful and the bar and restaurant area is great. We had a delicious dinner and there was a nice choice of drinks. Our room was immaculately clean and had everything we needed.

We booked a standard room and were allocated Room 1 which I wouldn’t recommend. It was compact which is fine but felt a bit cave like as there was only one window which overlooked the main deck area so if you wanted any privacy you had to leave the curtain closed.
