This is a very basic stopover location. We were exploring a new route and wanted to see Phillipolis. The facilities were clean but very basic which suited our needs for the night. No breakfast or dinner, but there are places to have a drink or dinner close by (everything in the town is close!)

The facility is very near the Town centre, but we could walk around and felt safe. We would have preferred a shower instead of a bath.

Elaine was very friendly ànd helpful. I found the room spacious, spotlessly clean and comfortable. The best was the sheepskin electric blanket.

The linen needs to be upgraded ànd the curtain on the front door and windows needs to be non-seethrough.

Hosts when out of their way to put the RWC finals out on grass for viewing. History of the place.. hundreds of years old trees. Friendly atmosphere. Space for dogs. Family friendly, felt safe walking area.

It was a bit crammed for space in terms of room and proximity to other guests, although there were no issues other than having to put dogs away as people arrived and left who were not comfy with dogs.

The establishment was easily accessible with off street parking and conveniently located close to everything. Very peaceful. The hosts were very friendly, accommodating and helpful. It felt more like visiting friends the a guesthouse. Will certainly stay over again on future travels.

Road to Philippolis not in good condition due to increased truck traffic because of N1 construction but will surely be repaired soon

Price and location. Comfortable rooms and clean.

Very little water fue to other guests draining the water tank over night. Bad smell in the bathroom from the bath tub drain. Stopped once I put the plug in.

We arrived late on a Sunday. No restaurants were open. They arranged a braai at a small additional fee. Very friendly.

Friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable and clean.

Would have liked a toilet door, but that's a personal preference.

Elaine made us "krimmelpap" and sause with our braai without us asking. We felt at home. Rooms are cozy and clean!
