The hotel is dog friendly and the dog friendly rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Restaurant was modern and the food was better than we expected although the menu was slightly limited in choice (price for 2 main courses, a bottle of water and a bottle of coke was about £40). Within easy walking distance of the centre of Bourges, which is a lovely city. There is a canal within a couple of minutes walk, which is excellent for walking dogs, and If you follow the banks for about a mile you can then walk along a path adjacent to fields

Car park is private and free, but there are limited spaces and, unfortunately, the customers of the adjacent supermarket took up any free spaces while it was open (closes at 20:00 in the evening). You can park in any of the other free parking spaces around the hotel, including the street in the front, but the immediate area didn’t feel the most secure and as were ravelling to and from Spain we had quite a lot of stuff in the back. However, this is our 5th stay at the hotel and we’ve never had a problem.

Comfortable room with good shower. Welcoming and efficient staff. Easy parking and close to town centre. A Leclerc supermarket is next to the hotel which is handy.

Area rather dismal and noisy kids in the evening admittedly outside the hotel’s control. Only 2 towels, no hand towel provided, and no plugs around the room (all available from one cube on the desk) and no USB ports.

Everything was exceptional, the food, location and helpfulness of all the staff. We were given a map of the town showing all the worthwhile sites, also it was in English. So very helpful for us seeing the important attractions in the town.

Reception staff very helpful finding us a parking space. Our room key wouldn't work no trouble for staff to come change batteries. The room was clean as was bathroom. Breakfast was very good plenty of choice constantly topped up. Coffee good. Short walk into the town so fairly close to bars and restaurants - although we were there on a Monday not a good day for restaurants. The one we did find was good.

Easy to find and good parking for a city centre hotel., Every member of staff was helpful and had enough English to make our dismal French not a problem. The room was as they all are in these type of hotels. The bed was extremely comfortable, the tea making equipment was adequate. The evening meal and service was very good, as was the breakfast Staff were excellent and good natured. We have stayed there previously and would stay there again. Well Done Ibis Bourges!!!!!

Nothing to dislike, easy to get to, and easy to get away out of Bourges.

Location with free parking and price

Gave a couple a key to our room without realizing we were already booked and checked into the room; and they opened the door to find our luggage; personal items etc and then informed reception. We were not in. The hotel reception team did not apologize oddly.

Convenient location for town centre and Cathedral, Very clean rooms, especially bathrooms, nice breakfast fairly good choice and was stocked up frequently by a very hard working lady. Staff where pleasant and helpful and as requested we were allocated connecting rooms

Small rooms, not enough parking on site, had to use public car park over the river, not ideal as badly lit, our quoted price by booking.com, was not honoured initially, we had to explain to helpful receptionist the difference and show email before he could alter price.

What a marvellous find. Unpreposing from the outside the interior has been decorated with a musical theme. Very close to the town centre with easy access to main roads, perfect for our stop en route to the channel from the South. The restaurant was excellent for a light dinner although breakfast was a touch disappointing. Quiet

The location was great. A short walk into town with a selection of lovely restaurants. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Plenty of free parking. Buffet breakfast was good value.

Looks a little shabby from the outside but inside was perfectly ok.

Good location, nice atmosphere in bar and restaurant and the staff were very friendly. It was our 3rd stay in our trips to and from Spain and would definitely recommend for an overnight stay or four s few days to see the lovely city as the location is very central (the clue’s in the name!)
