The receptionist actually made a joke! First time for me to meet a German stranger who cracks a joke. It set the tone for the rest of the stay, which was at once comfortable, professional, and friendly. The hotel was clean, had soft lighting, plenty of space, and was fairly aesthetically pleasing although I'm not a fan of brick. We didn't try the food but they had good coffee. We got a complimentary water bottle. Two would have been nice also, since we were two people. Rooms were excellent, and we were lucky enough to get a decent size bathtub. The soaps had a pleasant fragrance, water was warm, water pressure great. Mattress was decent, and again, everything was very well cleaned. The parking was in easy reach of the hotel entrance, even the furthermost parking spots.

A little pricy. Flushing was difficult for some reason, as the water trickled quite weakly, but it was not a big issue. Pillows were high. We like low pillows, and would have appreciated an option of low pillows in the room.

The room was large, we were provided with extra beds for our two kids and still plenty of room to move around. We arrived in the evening and had dinner at the bar. We could choose pizza’s or flammküchen, which were both good. We used the spa as well, which was small but also had everything to expect. Breakfast was also good, with quite much choice and very friendly staff walking around and asking if we’d like help and whether all we needed was available. That was very much appreciated and better than found in many other hotels.

- floor in room has carpets and personally I just don’t like that in hotels (always feels somehow dirty to me) although rest of the room was definitely clean and nothing to complain. - we had a family room with 2 double beds which were quite small, so we ended up sleeping with 1 adult and 1 child sharing a bed as it would have been too small for 2 tall adults.

We liked the sauna, the evening pizza and Tarte, and the breakfast was excellent. Staff was very polite and I was able to get some late night cup of tea. Hotel has electric car charge points available, a great plus. Oh, and the bed was great, I slept whole 7h which is a lot considering a brand new place for the brain.

I wasn't able to make a cup of tea in the room, bit I now see it as almost a German standard, that only water is available in the room. But it wasn't a problem as I was able to get some from tea from reception.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was exceptionally clean and the family room was excellent value with four full beds. Excellent location just off the autobahn.

The cost of breakfast was too much at 19euros a head.

Jacuzzi ! Infrared Sauna ! very short drive to my appointments and to an Aldi's for my simple food needs.

maybe the price for breakfast could have been lower, but I'm not a big time breakfast person. maybe there were lower cost options but I never checked.

The family room was really great, with a door separating parents and kids. Comfortable beds good breakfast. And when we called to say that our daughter had forgotten her stuffed animal in the room, they immediately sent it to us, free of charge.

We have stayed for one night several times before and always had a comfortable room. We were blown away this time as we were allocated an apartment: so much space and choice of beds. Excellent. Breakfast very good selection. Limited choice of food for evening meal (served in bar) but OK for one night stay.

It would be nice if there was a bigger food selection for the evening.

could do with tea or coffee making facilities in room .Having to wait in the bar to get the staff to press the button on the machine was not ideal and it was expensive

It was missing modern amenities like a usb port for charging phones. The breakfast as a little overpriced (€19/person) so we opted out, and the pizza was a little sad that it wasn’t made fresh…
