As always Sheri made us very welcome and handled the storage of our five bicycles with care and patience. We are five cyclists and had three rooms on the second floor. The beds were very comfortable and each room had a very modern bathroom with superb showers and copious hot water. The breakfast was really good with fresh fruit and muesli , fresh bread and croissants together with jams and fruit juices all superbly presented. A great stay and we shall certainly return again.

Perfect location in the center of Huelgoat. The room was lovely, spacious, quiet and very clean. The breakfast was simple but very good (hot beverage, bread and croissant with butter/jam, granola & yogurt, orange juice). I did catch a glimpse of one of the owner's cat in the corridor, which made me very happy :)

I didn't mind at all the following, but it's worth being aware: - The stairs to the bedrooms are rather steep. - The matress was very soft, which I love and some may prefer a firmer one. - The owner has pets (cats & dogs) so if you're sensitive, it's something to take into account. - In my bedroom, the shower and toilets were in the room, so if you're traveling with someone, there's not much privacy

Sharon couldn’t have been a more welcoming host, firstly accommodating us earlier than we had initially said we’d arrive, then storing our bikes safely for us, and in the morning sending us off with a delicious breakfast! The room itself was perfect; cosy, clean and well equipped (also the property was in an ideal location). Seeing the large shower and lying down on a comfy bed after a long days cycling was a dream. I would highly recommend La Mare aux Fées to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in Huelgoat. Thank you for having us!

Very comfortable bed. Nice breakfast. Lovely owner who was very helpful and gave us a great recommendation for supper.

We were on bikes and it was a squeeze to get the bikes into the hallway but at least we had them secure.

Wonderful host who looked after us so well and provided a superb breakfast. We had five bikes with assorted pannier bags and these were safely stored away in moments . Easy access to the town centre.

La Mare aux Fées is a charming Guest House with a wonderful history and artifacts to match. The breakfast was perfect and it was lovely to be welcomed by the dogs and cat, a real home from home, and a perfect location for exploring Huelgoat Forest and the village.

It is the first room I've stayed in without any partition wall between bed and facilities, but being alone this wasn't an issue. And the other rooms share a standard bathroom, so you may want to opt for one of those if it is.

We had a wonderful stay. The beds were very comfortable, the breakfast was lovely and the hostess was very friendly and helpful with information & suggestions to add to our stay in Huelgoat.

Breakfast brilliant, felt like we had a real local breakfast, nicely presented.

I couldn't charge my cycle as no power point available for a battery that isn't removed from the cycle.
