During our recent 10-day business trip to Zhengzhou, we had the immense pleasure of staying at the Sofitel Zhengzhou International, and it truly exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, the warmth and professionalism of the staff set the tone for an extraordinary stay. A special mention must go to the exceptional managers, Antoine and Miaomiao, whose enthusiasm, kindness, and attention to detail were unparalleled. Along with their attentive team, they guided us to vibrant night markets, charming local districts, and even a fascinating antique street that was a treasure trove of history and artistry. The staff’s assistance with translations proved invaluable, enhancing both our work and personal experiences (the manager ever helped with purchasing Chinese medicine for my cough). They also connected us with local tour guides to take us on excursions. These guides offered an insider’s perspective on the region, introducing us to the vibrant local culture, culinary delights, and even unique shopping experiences that showcased the everyday way of life in Henan Province. The hotel itself was a haven of comfort and luxury, with every amenity thoughtfully designed for an exceptional experience. The swimming pool provided a serene escape after work meetings, and the dining hall was a daily highlight. Each meal was a masterpiece, with chefs crafting unique dishes that delighted our taste buds every day. Winston and the rest of the staff were outstanding—always approachable, efficient, and genuinely eager to make our stay memorable. Our spacious room was immaculate and filled with thoughtful touches that made it feel like a second home. The hotel’s location was incredibly convenient, offering easy access to key attractions, a local park, and necessary amenities. This was, without a doubt, one of the finest hotel experiences we have ever had, and we cannot recommend it highly enough.

Everything was perfect, I like this hotel, I stayed in there for 6 days and the time was amazing, all the hotel staff was amazing too, very helpful and professional, I want to say big thanks to Antony and Miau Miau for the good company and professional service, they amazing people and I hope I will meet them shortly again. The room was bit enough, very clean and modern. The breakfast and dinner were very good, there's a lot of very nice food, I really enjoyed every day at the bar. Thank you very much for a nice stay. I definitely recommend this hotel to everyone and I hope I will come back shortly. Good luck to you all!

1. The staff is nice and helpful; the room is spacious and the city view is OK; the breakfast is wonderful. 2. You can walk (30 min) to visit the relics of (mounds and museum) the ancient Shan city. 3. Within walking distance (20 min) to the subway station where escalators (but not elevator) are available.

The indoor air-conditioning system is noisy, especially that on the hallway near the elevators, which may cause troubles for a good night's sleep.

The Level of Service - pleased to share with you an extraordinary service experience we received from your Concierge Mr. Hao Liu aka “Mr. H”. He is my true Chinese Hero. I was travelling with my father who is 87 years old and my family when our flight was cancelled and we had to get tickets on the Bullet Train. Mr. H volunteered to buy my tickets online using his personal credit card as I was unable to and further drove me down to the train station at 4am (as there were no taxis at this hour) so I could personally collect the tickets before he was off duty. What touched me the most was when he drove me back to the hotel he got a little gift out of the back his mini van which I still have with me. He is a really exceptional human being. Thanks so Sofitel for hiring a person who serves from the heart.

Most beautiful hotel in zhengzhou.The lobby is very beautiful.The room is very clean and pretty big size.the breakfast is really nice with many choices.The staff are really hospitable and helpful.Especially MiaoMiao offers very good service to me,she even guideded me to the local restaurant near to the hotel when I want to have the local food,and also she arranged the shaolin temple tour for me,very helpful and professional.Antoni helps me to communicated upon check in.Alice,Rita,Kim also offered very good service to me.they make me feel away from home.

The hotel’s location is excellent, making it easy to explore the city. One of the highlights was the exceptional staff, who were consistently friendly, helpful, and always attentive to our needs. The room was clean, offering a comfortable environment for our stay.

Very nice lobby , comfortable beds , breakfast options and breakfast area , staff prepared breakfast bag for us at 5 am to go to airport . Food at the Chinese restaurant was outstanding.

The aircon cannot be controlled was a bit warm in the night . Shopping malls not close to hotel .

Breakfast was always great - plenty of options with the buffet and all freshly prepared. I have stayed at the Sofitel regularly in Brisbane and this was my first time in China and the expectations I had were met. The staff were always very helpful

Excellent breakfast buffet with Chinese and European food. Staff at the reception ( Mioumiou) is amazing. Nice rooms, large indoor swimming pool. Good Chinese restaurant in the hotel.

Swimming pool area could be renovated. Bar should be oder after 21:30.
