Caroline was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The room was just brilliant, could not ask for more. Very quiet spacious and comfortable- I slept like a baby. V good shower. Breakfast was just right, delicious pastries and fresh fruit salad. Grounds and pool are lovely. Location is v good for visiting St Emilion and other towns.

Everything but especially the incredible host, Caroline!!! I had spent hours looking into places to stay in the area and ended up choosing Domaine de Gaïa because of the fantastic reviews— and am so grateful I did! We were the only ones staying at this beautiful property and Caroline was the kindest, most generous host. She prepared dinner for us both nights and both meals were by far the best we’ve had in France. We even cooked with her the second night and had dinner together which was really lovely. She even went out of her way to drive us to a bike station in Saint Emilion and to the train station when we were leaving. Caroline has put her heart and soul into her dream of restoring a historic estate and it truly shows. I can’t wait to return to this remarkable place! Thank you Caroline 🤍🤍🤍

Beautiful large bedroom and nice outdoor areas. Caroline took a lot of pride in her ongoing restoration of the property and it shows. She was helpful with booking a lovely wine visit and restaurant recommendations too

We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Caroline, is a kind and fun host. She prepared a delicious dinner for us the night we arrived, and a wonderful breakfast the following morning. Our bedroom was exceptionally large and beautifully decorated. Best stay of our trip so far!

Domaine de Gaïa is a very nice and quiet place surrounded by vineyards located near St. Emilion. The property has been recently refurbished. Rooms are stylish and everything is working perfectly. There is a beautiful and very large garden with a swimming-pool. A perfect place to relax and enjoy the countryside. Caroline is a lovely and very helpful host!

Very kind host, new and very nice room. clean and well furnished as well. breakfast was good as well. Wish we had more time to relax at the great location. Very good value for your money.

Sound proofing was not great for our room (between rooms as it had a connector door), a neighbor complained (reasonably) at night when you speak at modest level.

Beautiful old house and garden. Host was very friendly and helpful, we were made to feel very welcome. Bedroom was very comfortable. Location very near to Roger Lapebie cycle path.

It would be useful to have a small area set aside perhaps in dining room to make tea and coffee
