The whole place was more modern than I was expecting, however it was very clean and comfortable. The restaurant was not open the night I stayed so I booked a tray meal which was a delicious homemade lasagne with salad and a home-made crumble for dessert. The hostess was very welcoming. Unfortunately due to traffic I did not arrive in time to use the pool but the pool area looked well maintained and inviting. The village was very quiet. If travelling from the South the shortest route from the motorway takes you through a lot of small country lanes.

Great welcome, as always. Bathrobs,slippers, and towels awaiting us to cool off in the pool. Amazing food for dinner with, of course, the legendary Poulet Bresse and other amazingly great dishes. Excellent individual wine pairing suggestions. Off to a very comfy bed. Great breakfast, including non-sugar/low carbs (omelette, veggies, cheese,ham, faisselle, pain intégral) .But of course also croissantes, baguette etc.

The hotel was fabulous in every way. Super-friendly staff- so helpful. Excellent room- every amenity you could want,large comfortable bed and everything so clean. We ate in the Bistro- the food was amazing - Michelin standard. Breakfast was also an excellent. I would highly recommend this hotel- we will definitely be going back- such a convenient stop.

This is one business that deserves a rating far beyond the 10 allowed. From pre-arrival interaction, to check-in, to the host of pleasant surprises (look, a swimming pool! artisan soap in the bathroom! exquisite pillows! an electric, roll-down blackout shade! I could go on), the personable, helpful staff at Auberge Bressane de Buellas raised the bar in hospitality standards. That was before we had dinner in the brasserie, which was a delightful tour of the chef's Michelin-quality food. Delicate risotto with pan-seared dorado; a local dish of roasted chicken with morels and a fabulous creamy sauce. All was magnifique! I have relatives in France and have alerted them to this gem of an oasis for a weekend getaway. Merci for a beautiful, memorable and all-to-brief stay!

It was New Year's day and the owner went out of her way to prepare a wonderful dinner even if the restaurant was closed. The room was lovely and spacious with a great shower and comfy bed. Breakfast was good but we didn't try the pool! Hotel is in a lovely quiet village. Car parking was secure and free.

The weather.

As has been for a number of years, a wonderfully warm and helpful welcome by Gaelle and Christofe. The Auberge Bressane de Buellas offers very comfortable and clean accommodation and great food. All in all, it represents very good value for money.

Good size rooms, very comfortable beds, lovely welcome when we arrived. We had an absolutely wonderful dinner. Delicious food and excellent service and lots of choice at breakfast

Outstanding and kind assistance of owner - stayed on reception beyond 11 to let us in and show us very pleasantly our rooms, and was there again at breakfast, still smiling - she went beyond what we expected, and was a great host.
