- The rooms are clean and spacious, this was my favourite part about HARRIS - Property is great for kids - Having a live band by the pool was something I looked forward to

- Location is very far from everything else. Be prepared to have a taxi / driver - Massage here is very expensive. I am not sure why they charge such exorbitant prices when other outlets are 1/3 their price - Watersports was a major disappointment. If you are coming BATAM watersports, try Turi Beach Resort instead. The water here is not clean, little watersports activity, and prices are higher than normal rates x - Food here is average. Breakfast spread is great but alacarte menu is sub-par. Take note of this because HARRIS is far from malls and other restaurants, so you may end up having your meals within the resort on most days.

The family room we booked was great, my 2 kids were able to sleep well and had fun sleeping on the bunk bed. The room was spacious and clean. The resort restaurant had Indian Vegetarian food items as well like Chana Masala, Daal Tadka - the items we ordered and ate with sticky rice - which were still good - given that the chef/location was Indonesia(n). The restaurant staff was kind and courteous. The hotel does extra things to delight the guests like they had a live music on saturday night dinner timing and a mob flash dance at the breakfast time on Sunday morning - experiences which are unexpected and added nice touch. This was our 3rd time staying at the resort and we may travel again here.

While the swimming pools are really big - the hotel needs to do better job cleaning up the water...in the kids pool, with waterfall style feature, the water was so dark that it was difficult to see 1 feet ahead even with swimming goggles on...the adults pools also had similar situation but slightly better water - but they have serious room for improvement in the water clarity and cleanliness in the pool. The resort is NOT in the city and the beach area is not accessible for kids - so I hope the resort owners/managers read this review and take significant steps to clear/clean up the swimming pools - as that is the biggest avenue for kids to spend time at the resort.

Very good value for the price, we are extremely satisfied with our trip. The staff is exceptionnal. The complimentary breakfast is great and has a lot of options. The facilities are a bit old, but there are things for every age to enjoy : animals and kids playroom for the children, video games or massage for adults, everyone can find his happiness here. Free shuttle service to the main mall and ferry terminal.

A bit far from everything, but they have drivers services and free shuttle to mall or ferry terminal, so all in all very good.

The food (breakfast buffet, lunch and dinner meals at the restaurant) was really good and the staff were very helpful. The Swimming pool is awesome and water activities were fun. The room is big even with the extra bed added in the room.

The check-in experience was quite unpleasant because we requested an extra bed when we booked and it wasn’t included in the room. We paid for the extra bed during check in and went for lunch. When we got back after lunch, the staff said the extra bed wasn’t included. We couldn’t find the receipt for the extra bed (that’s our negligence) but they should also have logged it in their system since we already paid for it. After waiting and talking back and forth, they provided us an extra bed. Apart from that experience, everything was good.

I had the best vacation time at Harris Waterfront. There is a convenient shop in the resort, very convenient to get snacks and essentials at the shop when you need it. The rooms were very clean and smelled fresh upon our arrival to our rooms. The beds were so comfy, i slept so well. The rooms were surprising big and it exceeded our expectation. I mentioned that it was my birthday month and the staff surprised me with a delicious birthday cake the next morning during breakfast. Thanks to all the staff for doing a great job👍❤️

The hotel staffs were all so accommodating and very nice. The room was nice and the bed was so comfortable that it will make you want to sleep the whole day. I had a great room with a small balcony and view of the pool area which is really nice. The breakfast buffet was also very good -- but it sometimes gets too crowded between 8:00 - 9:00 am.

In general the hotel looks old and it shows in their bathroom, corridors and some common areas. I guess being an Ascott member hotel, they need to upgrade or renovate the entire property to give it a lift from the current old and aging hotel resort.

The breakfast buffet was excellent with lots of choices. Whilst the 'western ' selection was a little limited, we really liked the great selection of Asian dishes. The room was quite spacious, very clean and fairly quiet which made for a good night's sleep. The pool was amazing. We went for swims each day, and the water was clean and warm. We didn't use any of the toys / facilities as we were happy just to be in the pool on such hot days. Finally, the staff were all very polite and extremely helpful. What an amazing team.

There wasn't anything we didn't like about the resort.

The property is great, very peaceful and relaxing. - the pool caters for kids and adult, i liked that it was like 7ft deep. - the room is spaceous and clean, i like that my room faces the pool and the mountain with great sunrise. - the food on the breakfast buffet is nice, there are a lot of options plus the fruits are good. My personal favourite is the chicken sausage fried rice and omelette. - the ala carte food in the restaurant is good also, i tried the burger its very good plus the mocktails. - the balinese massage is also good, worth the money. - when i requested flat iron l, they provided it. - all the staffs are very welcoming, they greet the guests everytime. - sunset view is also good. Ambience during the night is good.

I would like to walk on the beach shore but theres none. I guess almost all in batam have no sand beach shore.

I requested for something special as this trip was to commemorate our anniversary. We were pleasantly surprised with a cake and a cute decoration by Mia from GRO team, thank you it is such a sweet gesture of the team :) Overall staff were very friendly and helpful. Albeit this location is quite a drive from central Batam, it provided a much needed respite from the hustle and bustle from the city. Room was also clean. Loved the stay here!

The lift was a little slow

The room was nice and spacious. Very comfortable for family of 4. Love the swimming pool area with the pedal boats. It was also nice that the hotel has activities like ATV and horse riding, though I did not have time to enjoy it. Staff were friendly and helpful. Love the bar near the pool as it faces the sea. Overall a great stay.

Toilet counter was flooded with water (unknown why) and the entire tissue box was soaked upon check in. Kudos to staff who promptly cleaned it up and replaced a new tissue box for us. Some areas of the hotel seems a bit old. Breakfast variety/quality could be improved. Hotel is a bit far from Batam Center. Would be great if hotel can provide laundry rack on the balcony for guests to hang their swimwear.
