wonderful in many ways

the toilet light turns on automatically. this is an example of modern tech making life MUCH worse. doing a wee in the night thus wakes you up completely, and also your partner lying in bed. Doctors say never to turn on the light in the night as it disturbs sleep so a quick night wee should be done in the dark. it ruined our sleep and no doubt ruins the sleep of hundreds of guests. please change this modern tech - if you cant put a light switch in the toilet then have a setting so it can be turned off and PUT THE INSTRUCTIONS ON THE WALL it took us 10minutes to work out how to turn the lights out for bed!!

Staff assistance at reception. Modern , clean, fresh design. Excellent large & powerful shower (apart from leaking cubicle door), comfortable and well-sized bed. The adjacent restaurant with direct access was good.

Shower cubicle leaked badly from under the door and soaked the bathroom floor area and adjacent toilet. Bedside lamps did not work even after trying to reconfigure the Cisco room settings device. Both reported at reception when checking out for maintenance to fix..

The complete room was a smart room with a central console for total control. Very clean room.

Since the bathroom / toilet is attached with the bedroom without walls so if kids need to go to the toilet they need to switch the light thus disturbing us as well. There was no separate light button or option in the console for only switching the bathroom light. Sound from neighboring rooms were quite audible.

Modern hotel part

Since we last visited there has been huge renovations, (10+years ago). No real bar area, or place for evening food as the services section. shuts at 9. Used to be a lovely big bar & restaurant. Good for a services and a one night stay on your travels

The hotel was great! Welcome friendly and helpful. Room very comfortable. All very modern design. Extra coffee etc provided when asked. Very close to motorway, which suited us on drive from Lithuania back to UK

The restaurant next door, La Place, provided adequate dinner but had no bar. We didn't stay for breakfast so cannot comment on that

Everything was so amazing! The staff where so helpful and friendly, The location next to Efteling was so good. The surrounding area was so clean and peaceful. The rooms where amazing. Lovely open plan bathroom and rain shower. The bar with outdoor seating was perfect, comfortable beds! I loved that we shared a carpark with a large food store also.

There was nothing negative

I could have done without the party going on in the corridor outside and neighbouring rooms at 1am, but I must say when they wouldn't quiet down for me, I asked the hotel staff for help, and they were really helpful and solved the problem.

Super clean. Modern hotel. Excellent free parking. Large comfortable beds. Large Modern smart TV. Excellent shower facilities. Seems very eco friendly. Would highly recommend.

Automated check in.Is not in my personal skill set. But member of staff on hand to help.

The hotel staff were excellent and polite. The rooms were very clean and the facilities were great.

We travelled over as a group for a football tournament. Pre-booking vehicles for transport is essential due to the location. A car would be recommended.

The rooms are beautiful and the staff were very nice. Also apparently there is always staff at the lobby which is great.

The screen to adjust AC in my specific room was broken, staff had to set it from their computer downstairs. The window was open when I got there and there were a bunch of small flies as a result. Wasn't a huge problem as it wasn't that annoying kind but still, best keep those closed when there's a chance of that happening?
