The location, set amidst the Lüneburger Heath, surrounded by horse pastures and forests. Numerous hiking/biking trails invite for outdoor activities in the most tranquil surroundings. The hotel pays tribute to its long equestrian history evident throughout the property. The hotel restaurant serves a variety of delicious local dishes in a beautiful designed space, adored with wall murals. Breakfast is plentyful. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Rooms & bathrooms are very spacious and well appointed. Beautiful pool/spa area. Free parking onsite.

Our short stay. Plan for at least 2 night stay as it is one of the most relaxing places we have stayed.

We recently stayed at Hotel Hof Sudermühlen in Lüneburger Heide and I must say, it was a lovely experience. The hotel's location is absolutely breathtaking, surrounded by serene nature that truly allows you to unwind and relax. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, especially the waiters in the hotel restaurant who went above and beyond to make our dining experience extra special. The ambiance of the hotel was also very cozy and comfortable, making it the perfect retreat after a long day of exploring the beautiful surroundings. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable getaway.

We arrived early to walk on the Heide, we were able to check-in straight away by a wonderful staff member who was very friendly and amenable. The hotel was in a perfect location, had a wonderful atmosphere and has beautiful surroundings. The dinner and breakfast offerings were great. And the view from the pool is amazing!

Only thing that could be improved is the Wifi, the mobile reception isn't great so better Wifi would help a lot. But that is really the only improvement that they could make.

The location is absolutely amazing, the Lüneburger Heide is literally right at your door step! We stayed here for one night with our dog on our way to Sweden and it was a perfect start to our holiday. So nice to go for a long walk in nature after a day on the road. Dinner was above average, breakfast was amazing and staff super friendly. Dogs aren't allowed inside the restaurant, but they can join you on the terrace outside so that wasn't a problem at all.

Rooms are a little outdated but very clean, light and spacious.

Lovely spacious rooms. Included good breakfast. Used swimming pool. Parking. Very helpful friendly staff. Very scenic area, 2.3km walk in heide region starts from carpark. Just starting to bloom on our visit. Lovely grounds with stables, lake. Small playground. I will come back when in the area again.

All was good with visit to the hotel. Restaurant was on expensive side and a bit complicated for our taste (came with a child) but still good.

Beautiful location and complex and very nice staff. Very nice breakfast and nice room. Easy when you take a dog. Nice to have the pool as well. Nice Biergarden.

No coffee or tea in the room. No room service, which would be nice in case you do not like to take the dog to breakfast. (only outside).

The facilities, hotel staff, the nature around - everything was great. I especially enjoyed the delicious breakfast, the sauna&pool and the lovely surroundings. Very nice place, definitely recommend.

Unfortunately, no equipment for making tea/coffee in the room.

Staying in a comfortable facility, offering a swimming pool as well as on-site quality F&B with different ambiances and right next to the Lüneburger Heide is quite unique. It is exceptional "Heide-in, Heide-out" experience.

The hotel is incredibly beautifully located, surrounded by peaceful greenery. Large and elegantly furnished rooms. As well as very accommodating and friendly staff.

Even though breakfast was paid by me, Espresso was not included (other coffea or hot chocolate was included) so i needed to pay extra if i wanted espresso.
