Room was spotlessly clean, and creatively decorated. Bed and pillow were comfortable.Had a small fridge and complementary bottle of sparkling water. I had lunch and dinner in the restaurant, which were both very good and of good value. First time on my vacation id had steak ( not that common in Europe as here in Australia). Located 15 min walk from train station and tank museum.

Nothing to fault

The hotel is well located in the city, close to big parcs really convenient to walk with dogs. A mini fridge is appreciable, as well as a kettle in the room. People are nice and the food at the restaurant is good, classic german style, with a nice terrasse easy to eat with dogs. Free parking space was available at the hotel because we arrived early, but it could be crowded later.

The room was on the street side, and it was quite noisy with cars driving loudly and late.

The hotel is located in the center of a picturesque small town, a few steps from the main promenade and park. A good base for excursions to Celle, Luneburg, Wolfsburg and Weltvogelpark Walsrode. Coffee maker in the room. Breakfasts varied.

Room small. Photos on booking.com do not correspond to reality. Despite requesting a larger room because I had to work online and unfortunately did not receive one, even though the pictures on the website for booking showed a room with an annex / living room.

Wonderful place, great rooms - great value for money. Additional super nice restaurant with traditional German food. EV charging stations available at a low price. Recommend this place!

Breakfast is not great, I would skip the breakfast another time.

We enjoyed the location, breakfast was perfect, free parking. The staff was helpful and nice.

We didn't like the smell in the rooms. We could hear our neighbours and outside noise! It was a pity that there was only paid water and coffee. There was no kettle. We were disappointed about a promised king size bed for us with a 5 year kiddo. We've got two standard beds only.

Great location, friendly staff, good restaurant. As others have said, it’s not far from the tank museum.

Everything was fine. You have to check in across the street. We found parking next to the hotel but it seemed limited. Our GPS took us down the semi-pedestrian street behind the hotel so make sure you look at a map since it’s actually really easy to find if you go down the main street.

excellent location. The hotel is old and that is a good thing. I didn’t want to stay in a cookie cutter room while in Germany. They has easy and free parking. There was a wheelchair room available for us. The bathroom was not so wheelchair friendly though. Breakfast was included and was good. it was quiet and we had easy access to the balcony overlooking the gardens. They made accommodations for our party for supper since we had the wheelchair. Staff was excellent and so was the supper we had.

We lived the location in town and the proximity to the park and Panzer Museum. The breakfast already was also delicious. The hotel had tons of character and charm.

The room was pretty hot at night. Also, the receptionist was unable to reimburse me for the second room I was requested to reserve online since we were a family of four. At check-in, they decided we could all for in one room.

The hotel is ideally located for the Panzer museum and has plenty of free parking. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious too!

My son says the shower was a bit small! 🙄

Convenient location. Close to town centre. Good breakfast in huge dining room.

Strange set up. Hotel was locked up. Had to cross street to check in at sister hotel. Evening service in sister hotel was slow to abysmal. I walked out of bar/restaurant second night after not being served .
