We have been visiting this hotel quite a few times now, alsways as part of a longer car journey through Europe. Closely located to the A7 motorway, this hotel is very suitable for a quiet, comfortable overnight stay. It has a good, reasonably priced restaurant and plenty of parking space.

Staff (and perhaps ownership) seem to change often. While they are courteous, they don't always speak German or even English.

The rooms at the back are quiet and have a nice view, but don't be too close to where morning delivery of (fresh bread) is done, or you will be woken up by the lorry. Which is OK when you plan to rise early anyway (just before 7am).

Very nice and easily reachable hotel for an overnight stay during a long journey between countries. The rooms are comfortable and easily accessible. The restaurant offers good food and friendly service at a reasonable price.

The breakfast opens only at 07:00. It was clear that many guests were hoping that they might unlock (!) the doors between the bed rooms and the restaurants earlier.

The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Rooms at the back are particularly quiet as well. Good parking, good access from the A7 motorway.

The only thing we didn't like was that there was no staff at the desk in the morning. Just a girl serving the breakfast buffet, in and out.

Very nice rooms, with great beds. While our room was towards the street side, it was quiet. Also, the restaurant serves good food at reasonable prices.

Small things: no garbage bucket or anything of the sort outside. When you walk your dog, there is nowhere to dispose of the results of the walk. Also, there is no obvious place to leave your room (card) key upon checking out.

Close to the highway- beautiful building- extraordinary beautiful garden- very nice room - we really liked the food in the restaurant and the breakfast was great. We will be back -with our dog who was welcomed all over 😀

Very nice hotel for those needing an overnight stay on a longer journey. It is close to the A7 motorway, but far enough not to hear anything. Staff are friendly and helpful. The restaurant is spacious and offers a classical German menu.

Not much to complain about, really. In the room we were given first, there was an annoying sound of, presumably, the heating starting up after a two week break. We were offered another room quickly, and got a few drinks for free, for the trouble.

Good location on our way to south. Good breakfast.

We were supposed to check in with a machine outside the hotel because we arrived late. But the machine didn’t work. But hotel staff came in 10 minutes.

The room was a little warm and the A/C wasn’t running well, but it got cool with the window open. We didn’t have it open originally because people were smoking and talking loud right outside the room.

The restaurant offered a variety of different types of food vegetarian and non-veg with local specialities. All very tasty. They had both indoor and outdoor seating. After a long car journey perfect place for the family and the four legged friend to rest and recharge. Breakfast had a really excellent variety of food with fresh rolls, croissants, different jams, cheese, fruit and hot stuff plus cereals. There were an excellent array of coffee and tea choices. The rooms were big enough and the shower was awesome.

The pillows were a bit lumpy, but otherwise all excellent!
