Really interesting hotel close to Lüneburger Heide, big touristic attraction of Norther Germany. Perfect breakfast, fine surrounding, quiet.

The service on outside restaurant. Many times waitress missed our table without any attempt to let us order drinks or meal. It was terrible because nearby tables with local people obtained servis immediately and without any probles. This behaviour let us to gou out after fifteen minutes of wasted time and waiting. Regretfully inside servis was more understable. I would recommend the hotel manager to change women who are making servis in outside restaurant this day. I have rarely met such indifference to guests who are speaking german bad. I am not used such behaviour in Germany and I travelling here really much and often. This was one of my worst experiences in some restaurant.

Quick and excellent communication in app. Very friendly and forthcoming staff. Great , quiet location in woods. Excellent breakfast with wide variety of things and good quality items. Very delicious gluten free bread rolls available (need to request beforehand). Breakfast room spacious and elegant, with options to sit outside. Very dog friendly. Free parking. Comfy beds , room was spacious enough. Nicely themed and well thought out hotel. Definitely would visit again.

Wonderful setting to explore the Lüneburg Heath. You will wake to birdsong, can walk from the hotel in any direction and be immersed in nature . The hotel is understated , fits into the landscape and does not try to be on trend. The staff are delightful, rooms airy and clean and there is a lovely peaceful sauna area.

Comforter was too heavy and mattress was conducive to sweating, bathroom mirror is placed too high and thus for me (163cm) useless.

Wonderful location, so peaceful and quiet! Very helpful and responsive personnel, good breakfast with tasty homemade jams. Unfortunately we stayed only one night and couldn’t enjoy the surroundings but we would definetely like to come back here one day!

Ample free parking, electric chargers available and easy to use. Food is so good - both dinner and breakfast. Location is in a forest and surrounded by nature. Big playground for kids. Everything is treated with care.

Extraordinary location in the middle of the beautiful Lüneburger Heide. The food is really good (breakfast and dinner). For having a relaxed stay in the nature it's perfect.

The hotel was in a beautiful peaceful setting and the room was lovely. Many walks from there directly and we saw the shepherd come back with the flock which was impressive. The food in the restaurant was delicious and the breakfast buffet was great too.

The location is fantastic and in the centre of the heath. Very quiet and an amazing restaurant with local produce. Owned by the charity that run the heath, so your money goes to support their excellent work. As a bonus you can watch their shepherd and dogs take the sheep in and out at the start and end of the day. Amazing!

Very nice property, lovely room. The setting is exceptional. Great food. Highly recommended to stay here.
