This place is very nice! It's a little dated, but for the price it's great!!! It wasn't like anything was falling down or in need of immediate repair, or in need of painting. It's just an older building, but it's well maintained and cared for. The complimentary breakfast was very good and the swimming pools and grounds were great. Anyone with children that like to run around would be an idiot NOT to go here! All the room to run and play, and also the ducks in their little houses was like it was built for children. And they actually have two double (full) beds in rooms (why do so many have two twin beds and no doubles or queens?).

This one is a gem within the city. The ambience is absolutely relaxing coz it’s surrounded by plants— trees, flowers and grass. The morning is divine there, peaceful and quiet, you can hear the chirping of the birds as you walk through the garden area. I would love my kids to experience this place. During the night, we went to the poolside/ bar area and had our wonderful dinner there where there’s a live acoustic. The food is absolutely delicious! Fresh seafoods and some skewer. Let me tell you about the room: it is bigger than most of the hotels i stayed in Cebu. We chose the poolside room. The beds were comfortable, the sheets were nice and clean, the bathroom is big, i love how they preserved a Filipino touch in their design. It feels like home. The staffs are polite, friendly, and accomodating. You got a perfect package in Montebello: place, food, and great staffs!

If you look for a peaceful place int this messy city - this is it! The well kept gardens and the spacious set-up provide peace and tranquility. Especially in the evenings, it is wonderful to rest and relax from the day. We would also recommend the resuarant - we ate there twice and were very pleased everytime!

The room we stayed in would need an update - e.g. power plugs next to the bed would be nice to be able to charge the phone

The hotel itself was fantastic! From check in to check out. Staff at entry, main lobby/desk, cleaning staff and restaurant and bar staff. It seems like the staff is a key to the fantastic experience we enjoyed. Great food ( except the potato bubbles🙁).

TV remote was a bit awkward to navigate. Only one access to room corridor on the second floor. Long access to the front entrance from the main road; no vehicle so extra steps to work off the great breakfast buffet.

The balcony rooms were worth the price, and overall, the newly renovated property was just amazing. The food has improved so much too. I also appreciate the staff’s attentiveness and friendliness.

The smart TV option didn’t work and the cable TV was outdated. It’s sad that I couldn’t stream my show properly. I also wanted to use the gym but I fear it hasn’t been renovated and there was no proper ventilation so it felt like the room was a hot box. I hope they improve on it in the future.

We felt safe here. The breakfast buffet was maybe the best part of the stay. A nice selection of tasty and well prepared food.

The property is old. The furniture is old, the plumbing is old. I had to pull the top off the toilet bowl and fix it twice and that is when I noticed it wasnt very clean. If this hotel had cost $50 or $60 per night it would have been o.k. but as we paid $110 a night I was expecting something much nicer. Be aware this is more of a business meeting hotel than a stay overnight hotel.

I live it as it has a character, old fashion style! All the amenities were there, it’s just that I wish there were enough towels for the four of us. We were only given two which was not enough. We wish there were a bit more storage area for our stuff. There were only limited space for our stuff. It was inconvenient to have the sliding door shut with a wood. Please get this improved for a better and convenient way. One of the drawers handle came off which was not convenient for us to try and repair and put it back. We expect a bit more from a very exclusive looking hotel like yours. The toilet blocked at some point which was not a very good experience for us. Please improve your sewerage. The location was hard to locate by our taxi driver. Over all, our stay was great! It’s just that we did not have enough time to explore your hotel. It has other great facilities such as the swimming pool, great food !, very friendly and helpful staff members,

Unique green oasis in the middle of metro Cebu. Amongst all other countless accommodations e.g. Quest Hotel or Westtown Lagoon I‘ve stayed at in Cebu this is still my favorite

Should reinvest a bit more in proper maintenance of amenities like fix broken toilet at the pool and little things here and there inside the rooms. E.g. water pressure is always a problem in the Philippines.

On Saturday and Sunday there were loud private events in the glasshouse outside until 10 p.m. our room was right above it and it was hard to relax or even to watch a TV meanwhile.

The hotel is very nice, spacious and well-maintained. Friendly and courteous staff. Very relaxing atmosphere, tasteful furniture, comfortable beds. Breakfast was also good. Didn't use the gym, but understood from a friend who did that it was well-equipped.

Food in restaurant is ok, but could be better. Strangely, the bar is closed by 10pm, and they have very strict rules against bringing food or drinks from outside, so if you want to have a drink with your friends, you will have to go out and look for a bar. Internet was strong in common areas, but I wasn't able to get a stable connection in our room, although it was very close to the reception. The surrounding area is just ok, an outdated mall is about 6 min walk. But if you want to go to a better mall or see some night life, you will have to arrange transportation, I don't think there is anything exciting within walking distance. They give complementary small bottle of water (300 ml) per person, if you want more, you will need to pay.
