The resort is beautiful, one of the best I’ve visited. Clean, beautiful, and with friendly service.

I didn’t like the food at the resort; I didn’t taste anything truly delicious during my stay. There was no flavor in the food despite the variety of dishes.

Everything! Beach, rooms, Resort style/ design, Pool, Food, Overall comfort, friendly- and helpfullness of staff, musicians!!

Suggestions for improvement: - Train/organize staff at the restaurant even better: Clear dishes faster, get tables ready right away, divide up tasks/ zones for waiters/ waitresses (so that not everyone does everything). - Prioritize requests that go very quickly. (E.g. requests for two glasses takes just seconds before typing full orders lengthy into system) - Cocktail quality/ taste too dependent on the on duty bartenders at the poolbar (Not all at the same level). All in all however a very pleasant experience !!

Beautiful environment- fantastic pool area, amazing view from the breakfast room, beautiful gardens, helpful and friendly staff, excellent food.

If you don’t have a car, it is difficult to get away from the resort without spending a fortune on hotel taxis. A shuttle bus to main towns and attractions would have made the stay perfect.

A Beautiful Stay at Anantara Iko – Made Memorable by Thoughtful Hospitality Our stay at Anantara Iko Mauritius Resort turned out to be truly memorable, despite a few hiccups on the first day due to some maintenance issues. What really stood out was how the resort management handled it with grace and professionalism — they not only upgraded our stay but also offered complimentary gestures that were both thoughtful and generous. A special mention to Resort Manager Ahmed and Nilesh, who personally checked in with us throughout the stay. Their attention and care transformed the rest of our trip into a smooth and delightful experience. The location is perfect — just 10 minutes from the airport and nestled along the stunning Blue Bay Beach. The property itself is serene and beautifully maintained. Breakfast was extensive and delicious, offering a great start to each day. For Indian food lovers, the in-house restaurant Zaffran is a culinary gem — a must-visit for authentic and flavorful dishes. We stayed in one of the suites, and while it comes at a higher price, it’s absolutely worth it if you’re planning to unwind and enjoy the resort to the fullest. The spacious, luxurious interiors and private feel made it very special. We would definitely return to Anantara Iko on our next visit to Mauritius. Highly recommended for those seeking a relaxing yet indulgent getaway.

The resort's location was excellent, conveniently close to the airport. The room was spacious and very comfortable. The beach was lovely—not rocky like many other beaches in Mauritius. The food was delicious, with a great variety of cuisines to choose from. The aqua pool was fantastic and extremely kid-friendly—perfect for my toddler and infant, who thoroughly enjoyed swimming. The kids' club was also impressive. Overall, it was a great experience and well worth the visit!

During our 6-night stay, the main issue we encountered was inconsistent housekeeping. Our room was only cleaned three times, which was quite frustrating. After long days out, we would return to find the room uncleaned—beds not made, bathrooms left untouched, and no sign of housekeeping having been there. This meant I had to inform reception around 7 or 8 p.m. to have the room cleaned, which was far from ideal, especially when traveling with kids.

Loved the contemporary design of the property

Too many kids, water current is too strong to swim! The property can be made more lively with a nice lively beach bar and music by the pool for extended hours - not just quiet evenings. A retirement home kind of feel !

Enjoyed the walking trails.

Even though we kept the door to the patio closed the floor became excessively wet from condensation. Especially at night. It caused the clothes being put out to wear next day and bedclothes to be damp.

Lovely location, excellent design of the resort and of the rooms. But what stood out were: the food- absolutely the best - and the staff. Everybody was smiley, helpful and genuinely committed. Special thanks to Stefan who went far beyond his responsibilities to help. The person who was organising tours from the resort put us on excellent trips and the driver recommended by the hotel was a super star. The complementary glass boat and snorkelling trip was amazing.

Even when there were small issues the management and staff were very fast to address and fix them. And they did it with smiles on their faces.
